Paris has a Promo going for my dates in April. Just looked it up and I can select
BURGUNDY ROOM | 1 KING | EIFFEL VIEW | NON-SMOKING at a cheap price. Tell me why I do or don’t want this room or deal?

I like Paris. It feels "nice"... But the clientele tends to be more mature (mid 40's or older) and it's very popular with couples because of the theme. It doesn't have a party and youthful energy to it that other places on the strip may have. This maybe be a good or bad thing to you. But it's not the first place i would recommend for a bachelor party or young singles.

Thanks for your response. This wouldn’t bother me since we would be going in and out of most hotel casinos during our stay. Mainly wondering about hotel rooms.

No problem with Paris rooms. I would say a normal room... maybe a bit better than some up and down the strip, but surely not high end.

Burgundy is their base room. As a base room i really like Paris. The room has a brighter and classy feel to it. The armoire(?) that houses the TV and your closet space is this awesome black behemoth. It really sticks out in a good way IHMO... You should youtube room tours of it, that's how i normally pick rooms.. The toilet is not in it's own separate room. Me, personally, i like having a separate toilet room.

And there are a certain set of single king Paris rooms that are at the end of the hallway. i believe the room type would indicate "end of hallway room" and is an extra cost. That might appeal to you, but I like being as close to the elevator myself.

The only drawback to that room, I can see, is that the Chateau nightclub noise may be very LOUD on nights they are open until 3 or 4 AM. However, If you are a night owl, or a heavy sleeper, it may not bother you.

This is a great response romeocasido! I will definitely checkout a video of the room. And yes I agree I like being closer to the elevator. Thanks

mini fridge (not to be confused with a mini bar)! i forgot about that. comes free and not a common thing to see in vegas.. The ABC store (cheaper than CVS or walgreens on the strip) in the miracle mile mall is a place you can stock any drinks or snacks for your fridge. In the video you can see what i mean about the brighter and classy design.. Really well done.

I believe that all the standard rooms at Paris have been upgraded to Burgundy rooms at this point. I don't believe there is another current option for a base room. The Eiffel View is the upgraded view. The P rooms at the end of the hall are a little larger and have an extra window view.

The problem with Eiffel View is the noise from the nightclub. It can be quite significant, depending on the night and your particular location.

I love the rooms at Paris. I think they are comfortable, well appointed and easy to get to from the casino floor. But I'm over 50, so this answer might be different from someone in their early 20's. I wouldn't call it a "party hotel" but it has decent food options, good location and decent rooms for the price.

I’d like to have a view facing the Bellagio Fountains but can you advice me of a room that’s not a problem with nightclub noise. Thanks Sonya

I don't think I have a specific room number that will help you. The higher floors, closer to the elevators seemed to have more noise than others. I had one room on a lower floor towards the back, with an obstructed view that wasn't bad. Unfortunately, I didn't make a note of the room number anywhere for that trip. Sorry. I think it was 11th floor, and towards the end of the wing closest to PH and the Bally's parking garage. My view was down the "street" and over the Arc out front.

The other option is to be there Sun-Tue nights, when the club is closed.

My avatar is a pic I took of the Eiffel Tower from my room at Bally's...which is another option for you if view matters. Rooms are similar to Paris but a little bit larger. The original pic showed the entire E Tower but the Avatar cut it off.

The noise from Chateau can also vary just depending on who is the DJ. I normally carry a couple of sets of earplugs with me. If the club will be open, I put them in when I go to bed. Sometimes it would bother me, other times I wouldn't even notice it.

I also have a tendency to leave the TV on low on a station that will provide shows with a type of moderate background noise quality - not a Clint Eastwood Dirty Harry show like my hubby would turn on with shooting.

Also, if you have XM with the app you sb able to connect to the WiFi and put a station on for background noise.

Some of the burgundy rooms still have a tub and a separate stand-alone shower. Others have a massive shower with no tub (newest remodels).

RomeoCasido, what was your room number? We want THAT view of the Bellagio fountains (not obstructed by the Eifel tower dead center)

I've stayed at Paris once - it was in a Burgundy room. This was the view from the room. It was a great little stay. Only two nights before we moved down to the Palazzo for 4 more, but I would definitely recommend it, especially if you're just looking for a place to do the S's. Although the tower is right int he view from another angle you could really see the Bellagio fountains - I thought I had a pic of that readily available, but can't find it.
