i spotted a suite sale and now am wondering if for my trip with a friend, I should swap from the regular two queen strip view room to a suite at Harrahs.

I notice there’s no option for strip view in the suite options on the website-are all the suites in high floors with views??

I’ll have to call in to change since I already have the dates booked at Bally’s.

The price difference is ~$80 total not a big deal. Part of me just wants to “show off” to my friend by booking a suite.

If you are a diamond member, just do the $20 trick in the diamond checkin at Ballys and they'll upgrade you to a suite at Ballys. No need to swap at this late date.

At Harrahs, in the Valley Tower, the suites are so far set back there really aren't any strip views. If I find pictures, I'll put 'em up.

Be careful. Most hotels in Vegas have rooms that are larger than normal, but are NOT a suite. A real suite has a door between bedroom and living area. This could easily not be any bigger than the room at Ballys.

I’m definitely not diamond:). Actually I’m staying at CET instead of mLife on purpose this trip, since I’ll be with a friend who doesn’t gamble and I didn’t want to mess up my ADT.

Based on what @DaiLun says about the suite location at Harrah’s I think I’m better off sticking with the Bally’s strip view. I’m happier with the location for sure-I think my friend will enjoy Paris especially.

    Thanks for the feedback!

@julia - Found pictures. This is a "strip" view from a suite in the Valley tower. Notice how far back the Valley Tower is from the strip.

You're welcome, but is Bally's going to be much better?

IMHO, Flamingo has the closest strip views

Bally's has some nice strip views from the Jubilee Tower.

Flamingo has nice strip views that include full views of the Bellagio fountains.

It's been a long time since I've cared about view, so I don't remember specific rooms or towers.

But I would think Googling "Flamingo Vegas fountain view rooms" or something along those lines would give you the info you're looking for.
