MJames, We won't be staying at Paris so can't get the tickets for the game unless we're booked there. Sorry I can't help you out. Have you tried reaching out to a host? (I know they're pretty useless at CET but it's worth a try.)

Yeah, shut down pretty quickly. I've been going to South Point for the game for years, so I am comfortable there. Just kind of frustrating to not know how to score such spiffs.

We pretty much just firmed everything up today. After last year and the crummy cold weather we said we'd never go back during SB weekend, BUT after our Mexico resort company started messing with our contract (don't get us started), we opted to take 4 comp nights at Mandalay (with a side hope to be upgraded to the Delano), paying for 1, then 2 comp nights at Wynn. Doing the party at Libertine.

Last year we stayed at Aria and it was a total gong show (gave us a room already assigned to people who were unhappy with it due to smell, kicked us out of another room mid-stay for "maintenance", called me a liar when I said I didn't get a Birthday amenity we were promised.. except it truly never came, it's not like i'm trying to bamboozle extra birthday amenities.... all that to say they wound up comping all of my nights it was such a gong show of a stay). We did the party at Virgils and it was great except the sound was really quiet.

Everyone talks about the bad weather last year? I was golfing last year the Friday before the SB at Stallion Mountain course. When did the bad weather occur?

Hell, we were swimming, heated pool of course, around SB weekend last year. Will probably do it again this year.

I was in a casino all day on Super Bowl Sunday, but Monday was cloudy and cool and it rained off and on in the afternoon.

When we left Tuesday (around 4:00 AM to catch a 6:00 AM flight) as I was gassing up the rental car it was about 40 degrees and raining sideways... truly some Wisconsin-level nasty shit.

I remember it snowing lightly Saturday afternoon when we got out of our car at Gold Coast to go check in!

I was there last year and I dont recall any specifically bad weather only that it was cold. Noticeably cold for Vegas but nothing like east coast/mid west. Felt like a normal winter day in the UK where I'm from. The year before I'm sure it was like 70s

They’ll be ready by Super Bowl Sunday. Dry aging 90 lbs of bone in ribeye for 6 weeks. There will be some steak grilling going on out by the pool around SB weekend.

In, but Reno not Vegas. Can't beat the comps. Four nights, Thursday Jan 30 - Monday Feb 3 comped at the Silver Legacy with some free play and food. Did the Super Bowl there last year for the first time, also comped. It ain't Vegas, but it ain't bad, particularly for free! The crowd is mostly from the Bay area. Plus, Alaska just started a great fare sale that allowed me to get two round-trip tickets on good non-stops for minimal miles.

Interesting thing is that we go to Reno on average once a year (haven't been since last Super Bowl). We gamble like we do in Vegas. A lot, but mostly max bet quarter VP. Pay tables are great and comps are like they were ten years ago in Vegas for our play. We get pretty much nothing from Vegas anymore, even with four or five trips a year with play concentrated at two or three places.

At least the Dolphins won’t have to travel too far to go see the Super Bowl. LOL!!!

I'll be there. Got invite from El Co for their party and free rooms. Then a couple of nights at GVR to wind down. Friday - Wednesday. First SB trip as I usually do MM instead. Since no rooms for me MM going to do 2 trips within a couple of weeks of each other. God help my liver.

I want pics from the Elco! Or better yet, maybe we meet you there? I am seriously thinking of staying there sooner than later, maybe this year. I love the Elco.
