Wynn Slots Anyone notice the scratchers are harder to scratch now??

Since the last update, I've noticed on my phone and iPad that the smooth graphics of scratching a scratcher have been replaced with awkward, clumsy, chunky new graphics that take much more effort to reveal a prize.

The iPhone graphics seemed to get better within a day of the update last week, but the iPad scratchers are still painfully awkward to scratch. My wife noticed the same thing, too.

Anyone else notice the difference?

 

Yes. On an Android here. I'll scratch em' clean and nothing happens until I say "gimme my money you !@#!@%!".

Then as usual, I get the lowest amount.

 

Yep - I really don't like the way they scratch now on my ipad.

 

Yes! Me too on Android. I thought it was just my crappy internet connection. Guess it's not just me!

 

Still messed up on my iPhone as of today.

 

I hadn't played for about 2 months until yesterday and I noticed the same thing. The first couple of times (after scratching it clean), I closed out of the app, reopened it, and one square would be covered again. Scratched that off and got my coins.

 

That happened to me a few times today.

 

I've had that happen a few times - I didn't need to close the app, though. I just clicked on all the squares a couple more times each until I found the glitchy one. I agree it's super ugly, though.

 

Yeah I tried that out and that seems to be better. Once it exposes the 3 winning squares and if it doesn't award the amount, it seems like one of the squares just needs a little extra scratching and then it goes through. Mildly annoying, but it is what it is.

 

I've found swiping the bottom 1/3 of most of them clears them quickly. Oddly, I have to swipe the top 1/3 on Platinum to get the same effect... and sometimes I get the "click a few times more for good measure" quirk as well.

 

Yes, it seems like they eliminated a bunch of the frames of scratching, but it still requires the same amount of scratching to register as fully scratched. It looks weird, and it makes it seem a lot glitchier. It's too bad, but it's good to hear I'm not the only one that is experiencing it. I thought it was due to my phone being too slow.

 

Old scratching graphics was more realistic. Now it looks glitchy

 

I've noticed that tapping the screen over the section works a little better at times.

 

I'm experiencing the opposite. It's much faster/easier to do the scratching now. I basically press on the square and with even a tiny swipe, it clears the whole thing. Basically it's not like a real scratcher

 

Seems that the old way of clearing the scratchers has returned. Noticed this morning’s event cards required more to clear them off, but there was no delay (or having to click around on the amounts) before the card would acknowledge the winning total.

 

You are correct, sir. They don't hang or require more rubbing anymore. But best part of update is Zombie Queen—far superior than Caribbean Anne which rarely pays.

 

I'm hoping it has something to do with me not updating, but my wife and I have gotten 3 mill on pretty much every gold scratcher we've done for the past two days. It went from head scratching to irritating to what the hell is going on. Anyone else having their gold scratchers refuse to pay? (I'm DL'ing the update right now and keeping my fingers crossed)
