This intrigues me, I wonder how it will do in KC?

I've noticed these being added to multiple CET properties. I'm sure the name will help draw in more guests. I'd be curious how their deal is structured with Mr Ramsay.

I go to HKC 2 or 3 times a year, so I have been paying attention. Prices are as high as Vegas (higher on some things). Weekends are sold out for awhile. Friends have reservations through their host for tonight. They ate at the bar last night and said the bar tables were empty even though it showed sold out online. They were underwhelmed with the appetizers, although they were pleased with the cocktails. I am interested to get their take on dinner tonight.

The former steakhouse (37 Steak) was really very good and quite reasonable, so my guess is that after the newness has worn off, people won't want to pay these prices. I expect Ramsey's will add specials like their prix fixe menus eventually. However, the other dining choices on property are woefully inadequate, so that will make a difference, too. Luckily there are some fabulous restaurants in Kansas City!

We ate at Gordon Ramsey at Harrahs NKC on Thursday night. The girls said they were doing limited controlled seating the first week to allow the kitchen time to adapt. Christina (Hells Kitchen 10 winner) is still there and actually stopped for a couple minutes to check on our meals, she's been there for 7 weeks training.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the presentations were very nice. Yes, expensive for KC except the beef Wellington with sides was $56-luckily we all had comps to cover. Everything else is al a carte.

You're welcome! I always enjoy seeing food pics to see what everything is. We'll try and get other items next time for more.

I do too! It's amazing even when 1/2 empty it takes an hour to get a sandwich!

FYI - as of a couple weeks ago Winning Streaks doesn't open until 4:00 PM during the week. Only Bite & Bean for breakfast and lunch now.

Perhaps that explains why GR looked half empty when I walked by Saturday night. I was surprised it wasn't full.
