So. Looks like they are going more foodie, and less of the tradition that put them on the map, huh? Wonder what the price range is?

I doubt anything will change in the old restaurants.

I've heard (third hand) that the BBQ is very good! Anyone had it and have a recommendation?

Before I became a "persona non grata" at Ellis Island, I had the BBQ many, many times. It was always great. BUT, that was about 10 years ago!

Will be interesting to see the pricing on the menu options. After all Koval Lane is very upscale!

We thought the ribs were good. Certainly huge portions but they do charge you $5 if you share a plate. Ridiculous.

I have enjoyed the ribs for years. Miss eating in the actual brewery.
Ribs have always been good and many years ago I could finish the rack. I now do a half ribs/chicken and have half the food left.

Went for the $9.99 steak dinner. Honestly for $9.99 it was that bad. It also had $5 craps. Yes Ellis Island is a dive but it had cheap thrills.

I don’t know when you first visited... if it was recently, I would love to have heard your reviews pre remodel.

Its not like they dropped a Wolgang Puck in there, they're just trying to upgrade the eats from pub to fast casual.

I’m surprised at the shade thrown on a property that basically hasn’t renovated anything since 1997 and spends $10 million to upgrade.

I’ve never been a fan of the joint, but admire the upgrade effort and hope their customers will as well.

That food looks pretty good to me. Hope they keep everything a good value.

I don't think EI is a dive. I know it's not the Cosmo or Bellagio, but in my opinion it offers great value for food and drink. While the $9.99 steak isn't $50.00+ like some places in Vegas I have found it to be fine.
