    My Trip Report

Whether you prefer baloney or bologna, it will be eaten! This is my first ever TR so I hope I don't bore, anger or offend too many. We'll be landing around 2:00 pm Sunday (today - yeah!) and will, on the fly, decide if the changes to the rideshare pickup convince me to take a LYFT or if we try to save every minute and just grab a cab. My bologna-loving buddy is a first timer and I can't wait to see Vegas thru his eyes!

I'll be using by ill-gotten Diamond status (Founders Card - how I love you!) to check in at the Diamond check-in, cutting the line and getting way better service than my tiny play deserves. This will only be my 2nd trip as a Diamond & I gotta admit, it is sweet! Then my plan is to take him to the happy hour at The STRAT , using our $21 3-day monorail passes to get there. Then it's to the Westgate sports book for the Sunday night game. I'll be interested to see if that actually happens or if we just stumble around behind the little animals! Wish us luck!

Sorry...a bit skittish to inquire about your preferences, is this "boloney boys" trip going to involve some different life-style choices or do you just enjoy Oscar Meyer cold cuts?

It’s called hot sauce. Sort of like a meat sauce for spaghetti with a ton more spice.

I had to look this one up...damn tasy sounding!

"Stan and MaryAnn fling eggs all morning on Saturdays, many making their way into their diet-busting, drippy Bologna Supreme sandwiches. Tell me how good this sounds: thick-cut bologna from Joe’s Meat Market, strips of bacon, grilled onions, fried eggs, a blanket of white American cheese all topped with homemade meat hot sauce on a Petrillo’s Bakery hard roll. Yes, it’s good."

There’s a large outdoor farmers market in Rochester where this food stand is. Whenever I’m in town this is a must stop.

Have a fantastic trip. I vaguely remember eating a fried bologna sandwich at a bar in Nashville and thinking it was the Best Thing Ever! Might try to recreate in Vegas.

I heard you can get pork roll in Vegas from a few good local spots. Let me ask over in the Vegas casual food thread at the poker site I go to.
