Too bad. A couple of years ago he was doing TV commercials for somebody?? using his signature song. It was for travel, but I forget who it was for.

RIP, Eddie. I watch his show on AXS TV, "Real Money." Seemed like a pretty regular guy.

Seems like it wasn't too long ago he was performing on Fremont Street.

    RIP

I'm currently listening to Eddie Money via streaming on one of the Chicago Classic Rock stations. He had a pretty good connection with the station playing on some of their free shows and calling in to the station on occasion.

I have a lot of empathy for someone and their family who has a losing battle with cancer.

I saw Eddie Money at the Brandywine Club, a small concert venue in the Philly ‘burbs. Probably was around 1985 or so.

RIP Eddie! He was a good guy with a bumpy road to and from and back to success. He was a regular in the rock club scene in the Bay Area in the 80's. We saw him around a lot, supporting local bands and doing some charity gigs. I got to see him pull the "don't you know who I am card" one time we got in trouble with security at a fancy hotel in the Embarcadero and it was PERFECT! :haha: Gone too soon. :(

    Oh, and F**k Cancer!!!
