I think they are fine. whatever makes you comfortable and happy is good with me.

This year too short, next year too long, go with what is comfortable.

shorter shorts are definitely for the younger men and women.
I like mine to hit at the knee.
I wouldn't judge you for wearing them but......

Ok, I think they are fine, HOWEVER, my bf and my 19 yr old son say too short.

Ps, I love settling in house issues here! But by now, you probably know I'm the poll type, lol.

I think they look fine. Of course I wasn't aware that length ever went out of favor for men's shorts. Personally I only like below knee length on the under 40 or so age group.

I say as long as your balls dont hang out wear what makes you comfortable. My shorts come down to the top of my knee, they are touching the top of my knee, so maybe an inch longer than yours.

The young people are going to say they are too short. As a mid 60's person myself, I say wear what makes you feel comfortable. I wear shorts just above the knee when I'm in Vegas.

I had to go an do a quick inventory. My "good" shorts fall right at the top of the knee cap. My board shorts (every day apparel in Florida) fall just below, and my swimming trunks break just about where the OP photo does. When I buy shorts, I stay focused on girth over length, defaulting to the manufacturer's knowledge of how these should look. I will say, however, (being 5'8") that short guys do have to take leg length into consideration. I remember, as a kid, when the jeans had exceeded their knee patch utility, it was time for mom to get out the scissors and turn them into shorts.

If I learnt something in my life, then this: If your wife says 'don't wear this, you will look stupid', then you should not wear it, because you WILL look stupid.

Current fashion is at or just above the knee. You’re fine, rock what you want.

I know very few cross country and track runners from the mid-late '70s/early '80s who weren't in Dolfins. Or New Zealand Splits.
