    Not taking anything away from Mother's, but it is a special gift to be a Father.

    Happy Father's Day!!! I'll be spending as much time with my 17 year old as he will "allow"! :thumbsup:

    Thanks... I got a Purple Cushion! YAY! I've been fortunate to have GREAT kids... for some reason though I miss my own Dad this year more than the others (he passed in 2012 at 78). I miss talking sports and arguing politics with him.

    Yeh......My first Father's Day without going to see my Dad.
    He passed in September.
    .
    My 7 yr old gave me a card -
    with a Chimp sitting on a mower cutting grass -
    floppy hat.....goofy smile......and that MANIC music from Chevy Chase trying
    to win/lose all his money at those Carnival Games ( in Vegas Vacation ) -
    Sh*t ?
    This kid knows me better than I know !?!?!?!
    .
    I was given a FREE PASS this morning to play golf.
    It was nice........but I got out of bed at 4: 45 am.....to Tee off at 6 : 30 am.......?
    Sleep would have been nice, too ?

    When all 3 of my grown daughters, (aged 40, 38, and 28) call me "Daddy" when they wished me Happy Father's Day, I just KNOW I did good in raising those darlings.
