MyVegas Premium Rewards Update

I'm amazed that I just snagged the 3 Bellagio that are always sold out! They must have refreshed around 10 or 10:30AM Eastern. I was able to get free buffets for lunch and dinner and the gelato. I am considering it a win, although with the blackout dates I'm going to have to redeem all my 6 rewards in 2 two days. I'm happy!

 

I check at least 3 times daily to see if the Bellagio, Mirage and Aria buffets have been opened up. Just a matter of timing ..

I just noticed that the MGM Grand B1G1 Buffet rewards have been updated to Premium status... not sure if it's a mistake or if all the rewards are being switched. I purchased last week and it wasn't listed as Premium

I got the trifecta of Aria freeplays & The $100 off Luxor steakhouse.

Use up a load of points for a F&B card, and the $100 I had left on the one I got last year, and I think I'll just dribble the rest of my points away on 2 nights at Aria over the next few trips.

 

Managed to get lunch/dinner 2-For-1 buffets at Bellagio/Mirage at around 5:30 PM EST today.

 

So it sounds like I can use as many non-premiums as I want? I've scooped up 5 of them that I figure I'll actually use, and will try to play enough for a couple others, but I don't buy chips and don't plan on it. That said, if I never buy chips will the rewards I see ever change? I'm not going to invest a ton of time into it if there isn't a chance of seeing some better rewards. I'll be happy with my ~$60 worth of bogo, etc. for a total of 4-5 hours play over the course of a couple weeks.

 

Yes it will change.

Theres is a comp 2 person buffet at Aria.
All 2 night comp rooms at Aria, Bellagio etc will open up.
Freeplay i think too, the $50fp rewards or or the $100 rewards.
Maybe more that I have forgot.

 

Meaning it will change only if I buy chips? Or will I see the new rewards purely by putting in the time to play off of daily bonuses?

 

Sorry, to confirm, those rewards unlock with spend in game.

Nope.

Very very occasionally there may be a limited time reward for 3 night comps at select hotels but thats only during very slow months usually like Dec-Feb. The standard room rewards are 1 night comps and 2 night comps.

 

i spent over $150 in game spread throughout the apps and don’t see 2 nights for aria and bellagio but do for others

 

So let me get this straight. They changed the terms and conditions as to where you can use as many non premium awards you can get during a time.
However the premium awards are set to 3,4, or 5?

 

Correct. One of each non premium per batch.

 

Seems like they have reduced the release of premiums significantly from years past. Any advice on timing?

 

Just managed to get my 6 reward, 2 for 1 at Tussands, even though it was sold old. My luck begins.......foreshadowing....maybe!

 

I like the Steakhouse at Luxor.....we have been 3 times and enjoyed each visit.

 

I was just shopping rewards. I cannot purchase yet because most are within 30-60 days. Looking at the terms and conditions it says I can use 4 from MGM Properties regardless of type within 30 days. I thought I remember once premiums were introduced the wording would include the word premium. Have people been using too many and they changed their mind? I was really hoping to take advantage of several of the $x off $y, free appetizers and free desserts with purchase. As a solo the options for bogo are out and I have over 5000 to spend.

The only premium rewards are the ones that say"this is a premium reward". The ones without this that still have the 3 in 30 days text are non premium, they just havent removed the 3 in 30 text yet, so if it doesnt say its premium, you can still have as many as you like (1 of each)
