Right around the corner! Have a blast! I'm there July 17-20 for a quick, unplanned trip. Usually hit AC once or twice a month, but nixing July for Sin City (still going next month and August, tho).

Unfortunately my next Vegas trip is pretty far away , it is in September (with my last one in February).

We enjoyed Valley of Fire. Red Rock was very good to me (Buffalo), it also has a good vibe. GVR is also very nice with a relaxed feel. My only suggestion would be Mt. Charleston, maybe for a late breakfast.

I was also going to suggest Mt Charleston and maybe a meal at the lodge at the top. Not sure if there is still snow up there or not, but I went there and valley of fire in the same day in April, and it was mid to upper 90's at valley of fire but low 60s half way up Charleston and still had a solid snowpack up top. Pretty neat thing playing in the snow and hiding from the heat and sun in the same day.
