Buffet at Mandalay

Can anyone share any experiences good or bad? Was thinking of using a My Vegas reward there.

 

Its perfectly fine, its not a high end top of the line buffet but for free you cant beat that price.

I haven't ate at it in a few years now but recall the same. A nice mid range buffet that I also used MYV rewards for.

The one thing is that it is a really nice spot compared to others. It has a tropical theme and I recall looking at a glass type atrium full of tropical plants etc.

 

I honestly thought it was one of the worst buffets I have had in Vegas. I won't return

 

For free it's fine, I was there a week or so ago on a MyVegas comp. Pizza was actually the highlight although dessert selection is really lacking

 

I'll go along with what others have said...for the price, (free via MyVegas) the buffet is fine...Personally, I go there because it is one of the few buffets that has oxtails as an entree...otherwise, there's nothing special on the menu...you have the usual cuisines: Asian, Italian, Mex, carving station...the seafood section seems limited, though they do have panko crusted salmon...I also have to agree that the dessert selection is lacking...

 

Ate there once for lunch on a myVegas comp. I don't remember anything extraordinarily good or bad about it.

 

I ate there for breakfast once. Nothing stood out. A good, basic breakfast. I would eat there again.

 

I used myvegas comp for that years ago. They had free beer which was a major plus. Also the room is nice with a very nice garden view.

The selection was not that great but whatever, I was not complaining for free. I liked it better than Bellagio. Bellagio eas super busy and just seemed like a cattle call of sorts and it was not even a special occasion or anything.

 

Ate there on Myvegas years ago, I liked it (never met a buffet i didn't), but my wife didn't, can't remember whether it was lunch or dinner. We will eat there again, dinner, Monday or Tuesday on Myvegas again. I won't remind my wife about her opinion. Agree that the Ambiance was great!
