Springs Preserve was awesome! Pics to follow of the butterfly garden, Botanical garden and museum!!!


Now we’re at the North Outlets - spent $33 on PJs and a nice flannel for A at the Disney Outlets. Almost left with a Scar stuffed animal. Almost.

 

Oh my [email protected]. Is that haddock? Fried haddock is God's gift to fish n chips. Cod is next.

@Astribling - A is a chick too, haha. Girl’a trip!!! Apparently she was awake but didn’t want to wake me up hahahaha.

Dude you guys. The butterflies were so amazing!!! There was a ton of other cool stuff at Springs Preserve as well, the Botanical Gardens were gorgeous, the Origin museum and animal exhibits were great too.






These blue guys were huge! They were very active, flying around, landing on people, chilling on the ground in the shade.... they also had camouflage- you wouldn’t tell they were that pretty at first glance:







Highly highly recommend Springs Preserve. They have hiking and bike riding too which we didn’t even do, but we were there for a good 3+hrs today!

Now we’re at the room, getting ready to head to the pool for the end of the day!

Cottontail bun bun! They had a cool exhibit where you went into a little cave and stand up inside a bubble that looked out directly in the enclosure. It was neat!

 

I read this in my office at work, thought that was a very unique shirt. I went out to the break area right after reading everything in this thread at the time, and a woman was sitting in front of me wearing the same shirt! Small world!

Mandalay Bay as a cardio center which is free and then another separate gym with free weights and machines attached to the spa.

 

I’m hitting the cardio center tomorrow then - thanks for that!!

Spent over an hour at the pool today and it was very nice. The wave pool and other beach amenities are totally worth it for staying here.

We’re getting ready for dinner back at the room now. If I can supplement my EC’s with a MyVegas coupon we’ll dine at Lupo or putz to Luxor for some eats and then, and then finally, some quality slot time! I know you’ve all been waiting

 

Ready for the night fools! Wish my hair could just stay curly instead of get poofy. But we’re in the desert so that could work to my advantage!

Love that you take bath products to Vegas. (Me too. ) And I love Springs Preserve. Thanks for posting all of the photos. I've always wanted to see the butterfly exhibit but I think it's just for a certain period of time during the year and I've always missed it. Wishing you a continued fun and also winning trip!

Lupo was phenomenal. A got the gnocchi with a cream sauce and Black Truffle Oil - melt in your mouth, little cloud deliciousness.

We got polenta to split.


I had the fettuccine Bolgonese that’s simmered for like, 8 million hours. Just as good as I remember it years ago..... all house made pasta, all fabulous.


We had house Cab (cuz I’m cheap).


All in all, our bill was $52 out the door after the BOGO MyVegas coupon (killer deal) and my $9 EC’s. Not bad!!!

 

Off to Luxor to gamboooool cuz I accidentally bought my Konami voucher for there!!!
