I see a lot of companies do night time vegas strip helicopter tours. Most I have seen are inexpensive and less than 15 mins. Figured this would be a great way to do a first time helicopter ride.

Has anyone done this quick ride and what company do you recommend?

We did it a million years ago and used Maverick. Yes, the trip is rather short. We went up in the air, and went above the strip, downtown, and then back again. All in all, the entire experience was about 20 minutes(ish). We were pushed back about half an hour, as some sort of saudi prince came in and wanted his entire family of 20 to go up in the air. Due to limited seating, they had to make a few trips. Maverick gave us a glass of champagne while we waited, and in the end, gave us a picture of us with the pilot and the helicopter free of charge.

It's something you can certainly check off your bucket list.

Did the tour by Sundance in late 2017. Cost exactly $99, included limo pickup/dropoff, champagne at the heliport, and a 12 minute ride up and down the strip with spectacular views. I would do it again in a heartbeat, highly recommended.

For a bit more, you can land in Grand Canyon and see the strip going to and from. Awesome trip.

Did this via Maverick 2-3 years ago with a MyVegas discount. Awesome experience. If you get to choose (they seat you based on weight distribution) definitely sit on the left side of the helicopter for better views.

You can sometimes find very good discounts on the internet, Groupon or living social. It was a fun experience, although the 15 minutes in the air does go by fast.
