Live TR - Aria 03/07 - 03/12

Eeeeeeeeeeee! I'm looking forward to this one! I'm leaving tomorrow morning, flying out at 8am Ottawa/Toronto/Vegas. Should be in Vegas by 1pm. Staying at the Aria - four nights comped and one night at 69$ plus resorts fees, 50$ for food and 50$ for gambling.

This should be like my other trips: a lot of food, much Keno, more slots and some drunk rambling.

Food wise, the usual suspects: Carbone, Sushi Samba, Julian Serrano etc. This is going to be epic. Here goes 5 days without speaking to another human being except to order food and booze.

Here we go AGAIN!

Since you are staying at Aria (probably my favorite place in Vegas)... I recommend the dim sum for lunch on the weekends at Lemongrass. Muy bueno.

I have also had great service at the bar at Javier's. Get the tamarind or piña (pineapple) margaritas. STRONG BUT GOOD.


If you get tired of the line-up at Aria then go to Jaleo at Cosmo for tapas, or any of the Block 16 joints.

 

The last few times I went to Lemongrass, half of my noodles were made of onions. Those guys’ fascination with onion baffles me.

Excited to read your report. I originally booked Aria but changed to Bellagio. I’m like you - no human interaction unless they are bringing food or drink. Now I can live through your Aria trip!

 

When your first flight gets delayed and you’ll miss your connection but they stash you on an earlier flight. What a start!
