I have an April trip to the Wynn (3 night comp, $400 free play) but have not been in ~ 2 years. I'm staying on the Wynn side this trip but have stayed on both sides in the past. Gambling I'm mainly craps/VP/slots. The last time I was there I could find a $10 craps table the majority of the time. A few times I either played $15 or walked to the Encore casino. I'm guessing it is still 2x odds. I usually leave the property a few times for better odds but I like the crews at Wynn. The last time I was there the bartenders would not comp bartop gamblers so I played VP on the floor or went to a different property. Any changes to either of these? Getting money to Vegas The answer here is to usually bury cash in my carry on for my level (will bring around $4k for three nights). The wrinkle here is that I'm at a work function for several days before coming to Las Vegas. I'm not comfortable carrying the cash to a work function.Has anyone done a credit line with Wynn, I would likely be looking for a $5k line. I see there is an employment check, anyone know if they are discreet? I work at a small company. The other choice is ATMs but I think there is a daily withdraw limit and I would like to have the option available if I casino hop. My bank covers 6 atm fees per month so no worries about fees but I want to avoid hitting the daily withdraw cap or walking with a Wynn marker. Thanks all.
Can't say anything about the Wynn. However I am sure you could wire front money to them in advance and take out markers against it? 5k I'm sure they could do. Could you call your bank and ask for an increase in the daily withdrawal limit?
You can go to the Wynn site and fill out an online request for a casino line of credit, if that helps at all. Here's a link: https://wynn.nccreports.com/ Good luck on your trip, @absinthe.
I had/have an LOC with the Wynn. I was at a small company at the time I opened the LOC. As far as I know they did not contact my employer. They are mainly concerned with your banking institution. Want to know if you have the money in your accounts to cover the markers. I also have LOC at Cosmo and Aria. I have never had any issues with those either. Only thing that has happened with all 3 LOCs is my bank contacted me to get my consent to provide the casinos with the balance information for the accounts I listed on the application Credit lines are easy in my opinion. No cash, no worries.
I used to get a line of credit when I went so that I didn't have to carry a large sum of cash when traveling. When I was doing it the only way to get the money was through a marker at a table game. They were very sensitive about you taking out a marker and taking the money to another casino. The other problem that my wife and i had is that while I played mostly table games she played slots and it was awkward to get a marker at a table game then give here money out of it for slots. It has been several years since I set up a line of credit because of these two issues. Are things any different now?
I believe that I read somewhere (and it escapes me where at the moment) that Wynn has gone back to 3-4-5x odds on craps. I don’t play at Wynn, so don’t know from personal experience.
When I was there 2 weeks ago they were 3-4-5x with a $10 minimum. Also, they are staring a program to comp drinks at the bar while playing video poker (at Charlies for now.)
does the Wynn allow money to be wired directly to the cage vs a LOC? if so, does anyone know the minimum?
Assuming your checking account is with a major national bank and not a small regional one, you could simply Uber over and DOA withdrawal to avoid the ATM limits.
I play both table games and VP. i could get a marker for a slot ticket in the high level slots room. if I was playing VP That takes care of that issue for me......
