Iron Maiden returns to Las Vegas... September 13th, 2019!

The mighty Iron Maiden will be playing at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Friday the 13th, September 2019.

I'm now planning my annual Vegas trip for that one!

Here's a bit of trivia: Iron Maiden played their very first U.S. show in Las Vegas at the now defunct Aladdin Hotel on June 3rd, 1981.

Got my presale code ready so I can get my tickets on Tuesday. I'll be going to their Sacramento CA show which is just a few days before the Vegas show. Taking my 17 year old daughter so she can see what the live show is all about, before they get too old and stop touring.

 

You don't think it's too late for at least one of those descriptors???

 

I love me some metal but I just never got into Iron Maiden. Maybe I need check out their catalog.

Joined the Fan Club again and got my code for their Pre-Sale tomorrow. I've seen them in Vegas 3 times. Can't wait. They always put on the best live shows.

 

I did the same thing the other day. I’ve never joined any fan club, but I need to be in on the Presale!

 

Here’s Pittsburgh 11 hours after Presale started....,although, to be fair, it looked like this 2 hours after it started. Lower Bowl is gone.

Got my pit tickets for 6 shows. Montreal, Quebec , Toronto (x2) , Buffalo and Vegas!

I can't find reliable info on how many peeps will be in the pit in Vegas. Anyone?

 

Not gonna lie, I’m a little jealous!
I thought about cancelling my Labor Day conference plans and coming a week later to see them at MGM, but instead got us 2 tix to the Trooper VIP pre-party here.

 

Going to see them in Tacoma. Saw them when they did Mandalay Bay a couple of years ago.

 

Step one completed. Ordered a ticket for the show this afternoon. Amazing that there were GA/floor tickets still available so that's what I got.

Can't wait to see my favorite band in my favorite city!

I'm going, I'm going! I really wanted pit tickets, but the boyfriend might be going too, so we got side stage tickets (seats).

So so so excited! UP THE IRONS!

 

Second step completed. Booked my plane ticket yesterday. Delta had an unusually low fare for the days & times I wanted so I jumped on it. Good thing I did because I checked again today and airfares shot up. I arrive on September 9th and departing on the 14th which is the day after the concert.

So all that's left is to book a hotel. I'm hoping that MGM Grand/M-Life will have some decent discount offers in the coming months.

Just found out about this a couple of days ago:

The all-female Iron Maiden tribute band from California 'The Iron Maidens' will be playing a show at Sam's Town on Thursday, September 12th which of course is the night before the "main event". I've seen TIMs before and they are great. During their set they often will play a song that Iron Maiden themselves have never played live. Definitely worth checking out.

I have 1 ticket available next to my seat (Section 217, Row C), or if someone needs a pair, it's an option
Tickets are set to pick up at will call, so I'm physically going to be in Vegas for this regardless.
