have a chance to stay at either comd for 4 days. wife loves the sun and pool I like the sports books and people watching, the Paris works out the best date wise closer to anniversary or is caesers worth going on another date?

I sort of like Paris atmosphere better. But - the pool at CP is much better.

Pool at CP is hands down the better choice, as are the rooms. I generally stay at Paris myself, just my preference.

Yeah, I'd say the pool and sports book are better (maybe classier is the way to describe it) at CP.

I enjoyed them both, but oddly enough, I think I actually prefer Paris. No specific reason why, though.

    Go figure.

CP, you can always walk to visit Paris. Better to visit then stay over CP.

If I can swing it, I pay to stay at Caesars when it's warm because of the pools. They have really great atmosphere. I also like the overall vibe of the whole place. But when it's cold I stay where I get comped. (Don't rate CP comps.)

If I had a wife/SO that was into pools I would lean to CP. Haven't stayed Paris, but it is an interesting property and on my "to do" list. If this isn't a surprise, just ask her which is more important the date or the pools.

The Paris pool is pretty plain, so your wife will probably enjoy Caesar's more. But I do stay at Paris for the ease of accessing my room, and the overall quietness once I'm there. I just think the Paris complex is very easy to navigate.

Sports book, people watching, and pools = Caesars by a long shot

But in a smart game theory sense probably better to go with Paris since it's closer to your anniversary....;)

I have stayed at and enjoyed both. For sure the pool and book are more fun at CP. CP can be a bit of a zoo at times. Paris a little more laid back. Paris gives you quick and easy access to Bally's. There is simply more of everything at CP. Rooms at CP are all over the board. I don't spend much time in rooms so as long as clean and relatively new, I am ok.

Toss up - this trip CP, last trip Paris. Next trip may be Paris again....

But assume the pool at the paris is fine for the wife? we usually stay at Harrahs and have a chance for somewhere else this time (thanks to making sports bets for all my buddies back home) thinking the paris, is there any certain part or rooms we would want?

Agree with most on here. They are actually my 2 favorite properties (we only stat at CET proper). If pool is an emphasis definitely CP.

i stayed at both hotels....at paris i had a nice (bourgundy or calais i forgot) suite(2 bathrooms livingroom bedroom long corridor) at ceasars it was no suite but looked like one with beautiful view on the fountains(didnt like it that they had minibar and no normal fridge im frugal!!) yes the pool at CP is nicer and they have multiple pools although yeah im a creature of habit for me i like the paris pool better (when couples years back staying in may at ceasars cp pool was so busy they didnt even had chairs to lay on ) i still go to the paris pool when in vegas(always staying at ballys jubilee room) the sportsbook at ceasars is definately better and bigger than at paris.......overall i like paris better(although i normally dont gamble there) atmosphere is nice ...the spa at ceasars(qua) is also very nice(best on strip) but even as diamond you have to pay 20$ fee (paris spa is free as diamond but really compared to qua its nothing ..last visit i treated my brother to the qua spa at ceasars its really nice!!!) anyway whatever you decide you really cant go wrong here

Definitely CP in my opinion. If it were me, I'd give up the date closer to the anniversary in lieu of staying at CP.

There is nothing "wrong" with the pool at Paris, it's just sort of boring. A plain concrete deck with a pool in the middle of it. Also, about half of the pool at Paris is in the shade, during the morning hours.

The sports book at Paris is relatively small (compared to CP, Bellagio, MB, etc.), and not a very comfortable place to watch games. But Ballys sports book is better, and just a short (inside) walk away.

I've always stayed at a "basic" room at Paris (and everywhere else, for that matter), and one thing I like about them is that they always seem to be nice and quiet. I also enjoyed my basic room at CP.

Agree with this. The pool area is very underwhelming-probably the only negative about my experience.

I am not sure when construction is supposed to conclude at Paris or when you're going, but there have been a lot of complaints regarding noise in rooms and water shutoffs during the day. Should make your decision easier.
