What's your opinion of the sportsbooks in Tunica(in general).

Mine in Philly, MS has a great deli with even better prices.

 

They don't carry it here.

Sports books are very basic

Well, after noticing the weather forecast with the nasty three letter word in it (ICE) along with "winter weather advisory" my neighbor and I decided last night to come home early. We figured we can always come back.

Get up this morning and "winter weather advisory" is now a winter Storm warning, and since we aren't blessed with interstates all the way we headed North at 0730.

Ice started building up on the truck about half way home, but we made it.

It's now dumping snow. Yuck.

Despite my neighbor having at least six handpays, along with my one, Gold Strike won. I came in second place.

 

Glad you made it home safe.

 

Sounds like a fun trip even if you couldn't come home with a bunch of their money.

Good call getting home before the weather stuck you there.

I’ve had to “haul ass” a couple of times in the early morning out of Tunica/Gold Strike. Offers were too good to pass up, but not worth the stress. Winters are now to Biloxi and a few golf/gaming trips to Tunica in the warmer months these days. Glad ya got home safe.
