    My Trip Report

So first booked well over 100 days on the count down timer and so glad we are getting close. It has been a long and painful wait but we are now close.

Reading all the recent trip report, I am so jealous of the banter back and forth. So, I guess I must up my game to entice folks to join in.

So for all those VP players and part time slots (like me), I could use a little guidance. And craps......well just looking for that moment, last time was a few yellow chips....

So Vegas 12/28-1/5, Bally's bases. Connecting with the twins will be tough but set up a met up and some or us can come

Thanks, it will be the usual characters; my wife and i, The twins, SoSF and wife, other SoSF and his GF. Everyone arrive 12/28 but other SoSF and GF leave 12/31.

I have a very detailed itinerary but expect we will only make 50 - 75% of it due to the morning temperatures and being out with the twins.
    First few days planning:
    • Daily walkabouts with the twins if it isn't too cold
    • Bachannal brunch, Giadas brunch, BLT, HEXX Kitchen, NYE brunch at Paris
    • Gamble during naps and early bedtime
    • Spa time for wife
Rental car three days to hit -
    • Breakfast at Peppermill, Skyline Restaurant so twins can see the trains running, Bid Bear Diner
    • Lunch at Gangnam BBQ, Rolling Smoke BBQ and one TBD
    • Ethel M's, City of Henderson Bird Preserve, Spring Reserve, Sam's Town to see the Mystic Falls atrium area
    • Gamble during naps and early bedtime
I will try to take lots of photos when I am not chasing the twins.

So we bought these fir last trip instead of taking the car seats and they are the absolute best way to go with toddlers on a plane. Quick to install, doesn't bother the passengers behind and they are secure. No I don't work there....

So glad it's finally here! Feels like it's taken forever...

Still need to get a few last minute items and hit the atm, but plenty of time for that tomorrow.

    Vegas!

Not bringing as much Cigar variety this trip, but they're all ones I like and I've got plenty.

Didn't grab any lucky charms. As I've not had a winning or even a break-even trip the last few years, I figure the ones I've been using are defective.[IMG]

Hey that is a good point. I think I will ditch mine as well. The best I ever had was when S had spells cast on our charms and sent to us. That was the $55000 Tunica trip, remember?

I am packed except I need to load up the cigar tupperdor. I am thinking Cao and Olivia Melania

The two royals @ $5? One of which was on the draw after discarding the 5 dealt cards? ...yeah, I think I remember that. [emoji857]

That trip was a while back... It's too bad all the luck wore off of those charms... and too bad it's taken me this long to replace them.

Oliva Melanio are good, and I like all CAOs for the most part. Depending on how we're doing, maybe we'll splurge on something from the Caesar's cigar lounge. I really like that place. Maybe if either of us hits a royal (or 4 Aces w a kicker in tdb for me).

Love the CAOs and the Flatheads! Tasty.

Where do you smoke them? Casino floor or cigar lounge?

Yes that was a great trip and I think the charms had a good by date....I wonder if it is too late to get another casting??? I forgot to include the cigar lounge in the itin but we can figure out a time. Last trip was a total disaster until the last day when I hit aces w/kicker at Sully's bar and aces in HL. Recovered $16,000 of the losses in an hour or so. You never know.

Do they have VP at the Monticristo lounge?

Well my dear wife DW is still packing. So far we have two large four wheel roller bags, three smaller check bags, a cooler with baby food, and a few carry ons. Yes I know its only 8 days....

    The flatheads are particularly nice!

I smoke them on the floor, but I tend to seek out secluded banks or empty sections of bar before i light up. I get a little self conscious about what others think of the smoke.

If I'm at Caesars I like to hit up the Montecrisco cigar lounge.

They do, and a really nice book of cocktails. And they comp on the vp, so it's my favorite place to play vp when at Caesar's.

In that case we will definitely go to Montecristo for a VP session. Almost ready to load the minivan with luggage. Hope I can get it all in. Seems like we have enough to stay a month. Maybe if I am winning.......
