First Vegas Hotel You Stayed At?

Hello fellow Vegas Lovers,

I thought this might be kind of fun, to see where everyone stayed on their very first trip to Las Vegas.

Mine was the original Tropicana back in 1980. It was my husband's first trip to Vegas, we were given a room overlooking a roof, and a dumpster area. LOL Luckily, he became hooked on Vegas. LOL Even with the horrible view. LOL And we have never stayed at the Trop again, even though they have remodeled etc.

 

I stayed at the Stardust about 1982. Great sports book.

 

My first trip to Vegas was in August of 1993. I stayed at the Mirage. The highlight of this trip was seeing Siegfried and Roy.

 

My first ever Vegas trip was early 80s. We stayed at the Aladdin, which is now Planet Hollywood. I really remember nothing about the trip except that I hit my first ever Royal on VP!

 

First first trip non gambling passing through to see a friend we stayed with the kids at the blu/green resort behind mgm. (Timeshare place). But I don’t count that as a Vegas trip lol

Honeymoon 2013 our first real Vegas trip. 10 days I think it was.... stayed at Paris, Golden Nugget and Caesar’s. That was the beginning of our love for Vegas. Been going at least 3-4 times a year since

 

I stayed at Luxor, back in 2010. Now whenever a Vegas Virgin asks where to stay, I recommend Luxor. It's far, far easier to look for the giant beam of light when one steps back out onto the Strip at 4AM.
