Have you tried the IHOP burgers since their "rebranding" to IHOB? I did on the 4th and they are somewhere between pretty good and very good. They put a slight char on them that adds a bit of flavor without over doing it and the fries are very good too. At $6.99 for a combo that includes a drink it's a great deal.

Had dinner at IHOP a few times before this advertising gimmick started. Really cant complain. Dont see what all the uproar is about that people are throwing a fit over. They used to have a pot roast melt sandwich that was outstanding. wish they would bring it back.

I liked their hot turkey combo to be pretty good. The mashed potatoes even had authentic lumps.

I may have to try them, but I find it hard to believe they are better than Red Robin type places

I actually find Red Robin to be pretty disappointing these days. If they are going to push burgers, they better be and upgrade over what RR is doing these days.

Nope. If you're like RR, and have qualms about cooking a burger less than medium, go home.

Red Robin - Reds Tavern Double is pretty good and fairly cheap.

Yep the "b" was a stunt or so they say. But for $6.99 all included I'd be tempted to try them...

I will not be going out of my way to try them. For me, it is still just another burger. I do not get too excited about a burger.

In the queue to possibly be used for FOTD, gleaned from our local DYK thread ...

The senior management of International House of Pancakes has acknowledged that a name change announced in June of 2018 was a publicity stunt to promote an expanded hamburger menu and not a true change of the firm's identity. Only a few signs and menu logos were actually changed.
