I know the info is probably in past post but this is a sudden itinerary change I am just too busy or lazy to figure it out. So....ask the experts.

We are in town 9 nights but one of my sons will join for one weekend and only one night meal. Right now I have left overs or Pizza that meal, which might be a bit under the bar so to speak.

We have been to Strip House a few times but not BLT. Since we are staying at Ballys and will be easier for the much larger group I was thinking to try it.

Please appreciate your input as time is running out (which is a good thing)

I’ve never been to PH strip steak but I lovvveeeddd BLT. I’d say go there.
Travelzoo deal is awesome or I did tickets for tonight + happy hour at the bar and enjoyed a fantastic meal reasonably priced

BLT is my jam. Also, if it matters, Strip House isn't a CET restaurant (it's Landry's) and you can't use/earn RCs there.

    Hi Sands!

We ate at BLT on my last trip with my son and his wife and it was fantastic! The food was wonderful and the service was perfection - ask for Tony as your server. He's been at that location through the various changes and was one of the best servers I've ever had. Great wine service & selections too. He started our meal with complimentary charcuterie board (forgot to get pic) and ended with the tasting cake & fruit pops.

The pictures look dark but the steaks were perfect med-rares. The banana cream pie seemed out of place until he told the story of how every restaurant in that location since Bugsy's has served a variation of it.

Enjoy and have a great trip!
    Ann

BLT. Be sure to call before you buy the Travelzoo coupon to make sure they are accepting them that day. We’ve probably been to BLT 8 times in the last 3 years and it’s consistently good. On the other hand, I took my niece to StripHouse 3 years ago, we ordered the filets medium and mine came out medium, hers well done....really? You’re a steakhouse! It’s what you do! Haven’t been back. I’m sure we’ll give it another try, everyone has an off night.

    Happy birthday to me!

I've dined at both restaurants 3 times each. BLT is very good, but Strip House is outstanding.

You'll have a great meal at either place, but Strip House outclasses BLT across the board in my opinion.

That said, since you've dined at Strip House, but never BLT, and are staying at Bally's, I'd go with BLT.

You can charge to the room and get it comped on the back end.

BLT Groupon conditions say may not be used on holidays & holiday weekends. Not during special events like Restaurant week. Reservations recommended.

Have been to Strip House 3x and will go back. We do want to try BLT but since we stay at PH we like to rotate between Strip House and GR Steak. I am sure either will be great but we are 3 for 3 at Strip House and Michelle loves the 24 layer chocolate cake...it usually takes her all 4 nights in Vegas to eat 1 piece....I personally do not like that much chocolate.

I was bummed when they replaced the bally's ranch steakhouse but BLT is pretty good. I will be eating at the bar on Fri. BTW, 4-6pm HH, 1/2 off all drinks, not just well.

Door#3 Gordon Ramsey Steak, you still never have to step outside.

BLT was the worst service I have ever had in a restaurant above diner prices, and mediocre food. I'm not a huge Strip House guy either, but it was the better of the two for me.

YMMV, some people swear by BLT. But I for one will not be back.

Funny but that is just what we thought of Gordon Ramsey Steak. Go figure.

No experience with SH but loved BLT. Excellent filet cooked to perfection. The popovers are also fantastic. Great desserts. Friendly staff.
