Played at MC/Park about 5am Easter Sunday because I couldn't sleep. Bought in for $200, table was choppy and then it was my turn to roll. I made the bonus bet for 1-3-1 and after about 30 minutes, I hit the the 3 for the all! When all done, Cashed out at $1400+

A few days later, playing at Aria, bought in for $500 and 3 good rollers in a row and out for 2k+

All in still down for the trip, but a lot of crap action.

Got to Palazzo last Thursday night, and personally threw myself the Hard 6 four times, along with a couple other hardways in there. Bought in $1,200, cashed out a $5,000 chip. Went over to the Wynn, where I've been routinely getting my ass kicked for the last few years, bought in for $1,200, and cashed out over $4,000.

About two weeks ago I was playing at MGM National Harbor where $25 min is the norm. Bought in for $700 and when the dice came to me (stick’s left) I put 5-5-5 on the ATS and a fellow (inside hook) who was taking out a $4,000 marker put 50-50-50 on the ATS. You know where the story ends. I hit the ATS!!! Last # was a 4. $900 is shoved my way and $9,000 to the big spender. I’m pretty certain I rolled 40 #s and hit maybe 4 pts before the 7 showed. Lots of 5s and 10s and the 4 started to show up after the ATS was hit. These are numbers I tend to not put Big $ on, but had some $ on it bc... well, I was on fire! I’m up about $1,500-$1,700 after my roll and the big spender fella is up like $15,000 and tosses me a black chip for the ATS! Thanks dude! Big spender announces he can finally pay back his markers for the day!!!

Next shooter is a high lob with a snap after the toss type of guy. Anyways, he does nothing special and is a quick seven out.

Then we have two newbie gentlemen in their mid 50s who are betting pass line $25 with $5 odds behind it and maybe one place bet. Nice guys, but weren’t quite grasping the basics like pass line odds bets on the 5 and 9 should be made in even increments. Newbie #1 does fairly well. Hits 3 points, some #s, and a couple of hard ways bets I have money on. I’m up $2,000!

Newbie #2 and big spender both roll garbage and I say my goodbyes up about $1,800!

    Damn, I love this game!

Low rolling compared to the last few stories but a couple quick stories from a trip in late March...

Friday morning at Paris, bought in for $300 at a $10 table and my rack is bare when my buddy shows up. Current roller makes me enough that after he sevens out I have enough for pass line and full odds on the next shooter. The feature bet at Paris is the Repeater where you have to hit a certain number a certain number of times before a 7. I'm a sucker so I had been betting it fairly consistently but I'm short on $$ so I skip the repeater bet for this shooter and you can guess where it ends up. Shooter goes crazy, think he hit the repeater on the 3, 5, 8 and 12. I started with less than $100 on this shooter and cashed out with $900.

Saturday night at Paris, the most fun craps table I've ever been at. My half of the table was a diverse mix of random people but there was one girl there who had a ton of energy. Really nice person whose happiness just seemed to rub off on everyone else. She was dancing and singing and leading the table in cheers. Table was up and down but my side of the table was having a great time just shooting the shit and breaking even. Dice made it down to the other end of the table and the shooter got hot. As this guy continued to throw numbers our cheering got better and louder to the point that as soon as shooter touched the dice everyone at the table would start with a low cheer and then ramp it up until he threw the dice and then we would all go nuts when we saw what number he rolled as long as it wasn't a 7. It eventually got to the point that people were lined up about 4 deep around the entire table just trying to look at what all the morons were screaming about. Everytime i play craps and someone sevens out i always think "man, just a couple more rolls and i would have made a killing". When this guy finally sevened out I had at least $100 on each of the 4/5/9/10 (he didn't hit a ton of 6s/8s) and my pass line bet was at $20 with full odds (up from my usual $10). Just a few more rolls and I would have made a killing! I did manage to hit a $5 repeater on the 12 which i think paid 40-1 so that was fun. $300 buy-in, can't remember if i cashed out up $1200 or for $1200 total, either way it was profitable. Not the most money i've ever made playing craps, but easily the most fun i've ever had at a table. That session also saved me from having to go home on sunday and admit to my wife exactly how much money I lost in vegas and how bad my gambling problem is.

Craps is like golf. Normally I'm terrible and either lose money or shank everything, but its the few great shots or great rolls that keep me coming back for more. Can't beat a craps table in vegas!

    All Tall Small
    It's a sidebet on how many numbers a shooter throws before a 7. All = 2-12, Tall = 8-12, Small = 2-6

Thank you boxofbirds. So it is all numbers except the 7 including the 2,3,11, and 12 and not just the shooters points that count?

Exactly. Any number rolled before a 7 counts, not just established point numbers. You can bet All, Tall, or Small, and in any combination. Most people bet all three.

Last week I was in vegas and I finally was on a table at MSS where a shooter rolled for over an hour. He actually shot for an hour and 20 minutes.

The roll didn't really start out anything out of the ordinary. Shooter was throwing lots of 2, 3 and 12's and 7's (on the come out roll) so many of us were playing the field, not expecting the shooter to last very long. I played the pass and come with single odds and 6/8 place and eventually the shooter started hitting the numbers. He also started hitting some hard ways to make it interesting. What was strange was after he hit his point. A number of times he then rolled 7's, once threw 3 7's in a row. Pissed me off because I lost my come bets but at least he didn't throw the 7 until over an hour later. Eventually I had the table filled with place bets and buying the 4 and 10 instead of making come bets.

What was funny was that the next table was boisterous, yelling and high fiving when numbers and hard ways were hit. Our table was more silent, guess we were jealous that we were on the wrong table (ha ha). We eventually realized that the next table wasn't that great, just that the players were more boisterous than our table. As time went on the next table emptied out

The shooter kept going on and on and after 50 minutes they came in to refill the chips. Bad luck (so we thought), the boxman dropped a couple of trays and completely spilled those 2 trays of chips over the middle of the table, causing the pit crew to stop to determine the hardways bets. Everyone groaned, thinking that the flow had been disrupted. I offed my place bets for a couple of throws thinking that they did it on purpose to cause a 7 out but the shooter wasn't fazed. Some of us kept joking that we had larger hardways bets so that lightened the mood.

Anyway, he kept throwing and we kept increasing our bets, not really realizing how much time had passed. We knew it was over an hour, and then over an hour and 15 minutes. He finally sevened out after an hour and 20 minutes and we all clapped and enjoyed the good roll.

My final numbers - I made over $900. For me that's great because I started out only playing red chips with single odds and not placing all the numbers. Throughout the roll I was only increasing my bets 1 unit ($5 - $6 increase) so I wasn't making as much as the others who were doubling their bets as time went on. At the end of the roll a few players threw the shooter black chips because they made so much. One guy had a stack of purple ($500) chips so I know he made close to $10k. I threw him a green chip since I didn't make as much as the others. It was neat to see black and purple chips on the place bets, they even had black chips on the hardways (which the shooter made them money by hitting some). I even had the chance of playing 20x odds on my pass line bet ($5 on the pass and 20x odds).

It was great for me because I had been losing up to then so it put me back up for my trip. Unfortunately the next few days had the golden arm tournament with $10 minimums (even the MSS tables were all $10 minimum) so I gave it all back to MSS and the Cal but at least I got to ride the long roll for once.

Reminds me of playing at the D last year and a hardway was rolled and the guys on the other side of the table were jumping up and down hugging each other. Looked down and there was a single dollar on the hardway!!!

I posted this elsewhere but it better applies here.

On Thursday i was at the Borgata in AC. Had a $25 match play so I decided to use it before heading out to dinner. Walked up to a completely empty table. Bought in for $300. Put the $25 coupon and a $25 chip on top. Set the point as a hard ten. Added $25 odds. Placed 4 6 and 8 for $34 and $1 each on the hardways.

Buckshot 5-5. Quick $100 profit. Parlayed the hard 10 win

I the bet a “Hi lo yo 2 each, hop the hard ways 1 each.”on the come out.

Rolled a 3 -3. Took the $31 and put $5 on each hardway.

Went on to shoot for 25 minutes. Eventually others joined the table.

Pressed the 10 up to 25 to 50 to 100 to 200 to 400 to 500. At least 3 of them were hard tens which I increased $5 each time.

I had the 6 and 8 up to $60. The 4 only got up to 25. Never did place a 5 or 9

I was keeping up and pressing the hardways. Must have hit 7 hardways.

On come out rolls I started betting $10 horns and hit a couple of twelves.

Bunch of dealer bets, horn and hardways - easily $500 for them.

I sevened out 25 minutes later and immediately cashed out. But even that was a win: I set my last point as a 10. I had $500 on it so I took $200 and bought the 10. Then i used $50 for my odds and put the other $250 in my rack. I coukd not hit it and I finally sevened out.

    Colored up $2229!

I do this weird thing where I bet the Field after a 5 is rolled. This past trip a 5 was rolled so I threw $50 down on the field, next roll was a 12...so paid triple. I thought about pressing but didn't want to break my routine... next roll was a 12 again!

a few rolls later, 5... so I threw $50 down on the field and a 12! Didn't press and next roll was a 6.

Hit four Field 12s that session... it was wild

Sadly I haven't played much Craps this year, so no crazy stories to report, but a couple of highlights from my recent Vegas trip:

Won $255 in about 30 minutes on a couple of good shooters at Luxor. My friend next to me was wasted from the pool party earlier, he was betting crazy amounts in the field. He only bought in for like $60 on a $10 table, but at one point was up several hundred dollars. Of course, he busted out in about 20 minutes

The other highlight was playing Craps with Mark and Dr. Mike from You Can Bet on That podcast. Didn't win either time, but it was a lot of fun! I did manage to hit the Tall for Dr. Mike. It was also amazing to watch the amounts he bet!

Craps is my favorite game and I love this thread! 3 weeks ago in Vegas with another couple celebrating their sons 21st bday. Teaching the young man craps was very fun. He came up $140 on our first attempt at a $10 table at the Golden Nugget. I was up $40 and after about 30 minutes of choppy table we color up. He actually made back to back points with full odds to get on top.
He is pumped and can’t believe we are stopping. I tell him you have to quit when you are ahead to leave a winner. Anyhow, kid leaves Vegas up and we created a monster!
Fast forward to Sunday, they are flying home to Texas, my wife and I walk over to Flamingo and we walk up to an empty $10 table. I ask her to roll, she says nope and I ask if she will watch for good luck. She stays and I roll for 40 minutes, holy smokes that was fun. $200 buy in. $10 pass w/ 2x odds place the 6&8. I never increased the PL bet bet got to full odds and $90 6&8 with $50 5&9 and $25 4&10.
After many rolls and $500 in the rack I consciously considered pressing to $700 across but didn’t have the balls. Too bad, (maybe next time)
Good roll and I recovered most of my bankroll. What a rush and the wife confiscated $200 for some Tory Burch sandals. I love Vegas.

Last trip to the local in Oregon, a friend caught a roll and I went from <$100 to $1000 in the rail. I left 300 or so in play when he sevened.

Two unusual thing stuck in my head:
    1. Roller was a "rookie" but male. So much for the old superstition.
    2. My rail full of ~18 linear inches of myriad green, red and white colored up at exactly 10 black, to the dollar (they don't have yellow chips, or it would have been even better). It's like I was Elvis and I needed $1K to get my Thunderbird of hock so I could enter the big race.

At one of my locals the old Grand Victoria in Elgin two weeks ago...buy in for $160.00 on a Monday morning. Only 1 of the 2 tables is open. Starts off as a $5 table but after an hour up to $10.

It just goes to show one good shooter conquers all......After my buy in 5 shooters (including me) hit a lousy 2 points.....and a couple very quick 7-outs...my bankroll is slashed in half.

Then out of the blue a younger guy doing no dice control/dice setting steps up and promptly throws for 40 minutes. Hits the 5 point Fire Bet, throws a ton of hardways, hits a bunch of 6's and 8's. My place bets were up to $42 for both when he 7'd out.

The veteran Craps crew said it was the best roll they had seen in weeks......He is done and it was back to 2 quick 7-outs before I colored up. $160.00 buy in, cash out just over $600.

New best roll for 2018 - actually best ever :woohoo: Was in Columbus Ohio for business this week and decided to kill a couple of hours at Hollywood Columbus. It's a small casino with no hotel. They had the usual mix of blackjack and carney games with $10 mins and 3:2 blackjack. They had 4 craps tables - 3 open with 1 $5 crapless, and a $10 and a $15. Settled in at the $10 to the right of th shooter. Table was good as the dice came around and I was up a couple of hundred betting $10 pass with single odds and placing the 6 and 8. Dice came to me, I put $2 on the fire bet and here we go. First point was a 5, hit it in a few rolls, established the 9 hit that next roll, moved to 4, hit that after about 10 rolls. Rolled my only 7 on the come out and then established the 10. Hit that after 3 rolls. Came out on the 8, hit that right away. rolled 3rd 8 in a row and took 5 rolls to hit it again. This time I came out on the 9 and hit that on the 3rd roll. By now the table is way up and going nuts. I proceeded to establish the 6 (first time I rolled one in this turn). 3 rolls later I decided to put $5 hops on all the 6s for the dealers and rolled a beautiful hard 6. - 6 PT FIRE BET HIT

First time I've ever hit more than 4. I won just over 3 grand on the roll and the table won $25K easily. Of course I went point 7 after the break for the payouts. I played another round of the table and cashed out way up.
