Here my review of the nightclubs I have been to. These are all my photos, feel free to use them.

If you're going to see a big name DJ (Calvin Harris,David Guetta, etc) they won't be on stage until around 1-2 AM. That being said you will still want to get there before midnight, the lines get long and and even if you have VIP entry you still get to wait.

Most nightclubs in Vegas are going to require dress shoes and a collared shirt. Shorts are usually not permitted. Best bet is to check the individual club requirements online. No sense in going somewhere and being denied entry.

Guys can expect to pay around $30 for entry. In some cases you can find a host online and get in free. Ladies typically pay 50% less than guys and often times can get in for free with a guest list.

The venues at Wynn and Encore are going to be the nicest, classy type places. You'll need to wear proper attire if you want to get in. Mixed drinks are around $20.

In most cases you will want to have tickets before showing up here. Lines can be very long.

    XS
Large outdoor venue, smaller inside club.

    Surrender
This is where Encore Beach Club is with smaller club inside.

Music can be very loud inside the club, powerful bass, loud vocals. Louder than most other venues. The outdoor area is reasonable, you can still have a conversation.

    Hakkasan (MGM)
Large multilevel club. Lots of lighting, confetti and C02 (fog). Lower level can get crowded.

    Omnia (Caesars Palace)
Multilevel venue with a smaller outdoor patio area.
This nightclub has the most powerful bass I have ever heard, with extremely impressive low frequency response. By far the most impressive sound system I have heard in a nightclub.

This was the most crowded nightclub I have ever to. The lower level is very uncomfortable to navigate.

Lots of unique lighting and a fascinating chandelier.

    Drais
Large venue with a great outdoor area that has a decent view.

My favorites: Rooftop venues with some type of outdoor patio or balcony. These places provide the best view of the town and surrounding area. Good place to take newbies, as you get a view you won't find anywhere else.

Also a good option for the older crowd. The music won't be too loud in the outdoor areas, not usually crowded inside or out.

    Foundation Room
    (Mandalay Bay)
Decent size venue with balcony area.

You can sign up for the guest list on the Foundation Room website. Otherwise there is often a $20 cover after 10PM. May be cheaper or free for women.

    Skyfall Lounge (Delano)
Larger venue with plenty of space and good size balcony area.

Free admission. Closes at midnight (1AM Friday & Saturday)

This is a quiet place where you can have a conversation.

    Ghostbar (Palms)
Decent size venue with Large outdoor balcony. Possibly the best view of the strip.

    Voodoo Lounge (Rio)
Large venue with large outdoor area. If you can find a host, sign up for the guest list. You won't find free admission cards in the casino anymore.

    Mandarin Bar (Mandarin Oriental)
Not a nightclub and does not have a patio or balcony, but it is a nice bar with good views of the strip. 23rd floor.

High end cocktails and a selection you won't find many other places. Open til 1 (2AM Friday & Saturday)

Their website has photos of the view, if you're never been here it's worth a look.

Do you recommend reservations for the Mandarin Bar?

When my wife and I went last June, she booked reservations via Open Table for right around or right after dusk. We had a primo table right along the window. If you are certain you are going to go in "prime time" then absolutely reserve a table. If you are solo and are going to sit at the bar, no need.

I didn't know you could sign up to be on the foundation room guest list. I have a MyVegas reward for the foundation room...but may have to cancel it.

Is Drais no longer doing a night swim during the week?

Is anyone doing a night swim from Sunday-Wednesday?

Sorry if this is a dumb question...why offer the MyVegas reward if you can just sign up for the guest list? I've never been...looks pretty cool.

Foundation Room is amazing for free, but it's nowhere near as cool as it used to be back in the day. I would honestly say it's worth it for guest list only for the amazing view. Go early, don't pay money to go in unless you are with a group. That said, it's a great venue.

I club pretty often but I like electronic. Thoughts on clubs in Vegas below, understand bottle service makes everything below somewhat moot...we don't guestlist cause it takes forever and is a pain, then again we buy a lot of passes before we are there...
Omnia - Best club in Vegas at moment. Decent deal where you can get a $100 bartab but free entry (available online).
XS - Amazing club, lots of chill space around the back pool/tables.
Marquee - Great club but worse than the above if not getting bottles/there with group. Zero dance space and pushy bouncers, although must say love the perk that if you are staying at Cosmo it's free entry if there early.
Light - Used to be cooler but going after a different niche. Really cool layout and great views pretty much everywhere.
Drais - Going after a different vibe than most of the megaclubs, fantastic space but can be a weird crowd that gives 0F about the music.
Chateau -Cheaper bottles than most but can be pretty lame. As usual in most things in life, with enough people can be amazing.
Hakkastairs - Have never personally been. Hear it's ok but like Marquee above tailored to groups/bottles.

Thank you. Just joined the site. I’m looking for a lounge with an high outdoor view of the strip. Mandarin or the Palms looks promising so far. Going to vegas next week. :)

    Hey everyone
Will be in Vegas next weekend. The last time I visited Surrended at Wynnncore And we had a blast. Now I see that it’s become NightSwim at EncoreBC...
Do you still recommend going or would be better off going to Xs?

Aside from the Wynncore clubs, do you reccomend going to Omnia , 1Oak or Marquee. Outdoor areas are always a plus for us.
    Thanks

What night are you looking into going? I think EBC @ Night is great on Thursdays. On Fridays or Saturdays I would probably lean toward XS, but it would also depend on who's playing. If you haven't done a night swim event before they are a ton of fun. More relaxed atmosphere, plenty of space to maneuver, etc.
