I wonder if MLife online is ever going to actually work for the Borgata

It's been two weeks now and I still can't activate my new MLife account with the Borgata AC online. I am really glad that I had already booked my room for next month because this is an absolute mess. I can only imagine that they are losing a lot of business right now. It's been over two weeks and people still can't book online or see their offers. They have to go in person to the Borgata MLife desk to activate everything.

I really hope someone got fired over this because they had an entire year to plan this and they still dropped the ball.

This is typical of mLife. They were down for 5 days last year when they made some "system changes".

I'm sure that they'll eventually get it worked out.

This weekend, I'm staying at Borgata and plan on linking my old Borgata account and my existing MLife account. Should be fun and will report what happens. Charlie

I'm hearing on the Atlantic City Boards that lines are still out the door at the players club after the switch. Those that lost comps. those that need to merge accounts (which is 100% of the people that had an Mlife card already). Those that got blocked from logging in online ETC.

Let us know if it was a shitshow or not!

@Grid -- It wasn't that bad. I had extra gold cards issued from MGM Grand and tried using one of them Borgata's slot machines. Machine spit it out and said card unauthorized so had to get a new one issued by Borgata. Found out that my accounts were not merged properly but was successful in getting this issue fixed. Further, I confirmed that all my points (Borgata and MLife) merged together so now I'm very close to platinum. At Borgata's MLife Players Club there was no priority line (gold/platinum) so everyone had to wait in the long "gen pop" line. This was last weekend so this may have changed. Lastly, I noticed that www.theborgata.com website was only tracking points/comps via Borgata and not overall points like www.mlife.com but I believe the mlife.com updated my play and points earned from last weekend. Still a work in progress! Charlie

Thanks for the update! I dont think they merged mine correctly after I called either. If they did, my expiration on the Mlife site would have been pushed to 2018 and it hasnt. I'm going to try to fix it in person in vegas so it doesnt look like I'll get to AC this summer.

Anyone tried to get the accounts merged outside of AC? I will be going to National Harbor before I get to Borgata again. The Borgata points should put me over the top to gold if I can get them combined.

I hit up the Mlife desk at NH to try and combine my current account with the second one that Borgata gave me. Spent about 15 minutes at the MLife desk with the worker going in the back several times to ask questions. When he finally came out he told me it was all combined and I would see the points on my account in 24 hours. It's been 96 and no luck so far. I just made a Borgata reservation for September and it still shows the new card they issued me instead of my correct account. Guess I'lll try again in person. :(
