Any idea/rumors about CETs Q2 promotion?

I'm almost afraid that they aren't having one . . . . .

 

DaiLun, I haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully we will get some word had thought there would be the 50% bonus but maybe not, 2015 was first quarter and 16 was second maybe third, will not plan anything more than we have if there is no bonus. We still should be renewed by the end of the second or early third quarter. If either of our hosts say anything will let you know, though our main host is off for a couple of weeks............Rick

 

I agree, no more trips besides the minimum GGWU bonus events for me if no Q2 promotion that I can use.

 

Does anyone know if there is a GGWU booster event in April ? I received the offer for June, but always thought there is an event in April as well ? In fact, I don't really see much , if any offers in April for me. I am wondering if it is because I am already booked for a trip in April ?

 

I think it's still too close to their current promotion for any info to leak. I'm hoping there is one -- otherwise I'm moving to Venetian for my upcoming trip

Thanks Rick! That is exactly when we will be there- I am shocked that I didn't get any notification ( I am booked on a Fp offer ) - I will call my host - will they let me switch though if that offer doesn't exist for me ?

 

I'm going in June, was hoping to get a promotion so it would be easier to get diamond (need 7000 points). I usually get 7500-10000 points a trip, but last trip in January I had zero luck and only earned 5800 points despite spending twice my normal budget

 

They should, but GGWU is "funny" the way that they make their offers. I got a generous offer in February, then half that in April, and I though "they must be calulating the 25,000 bonus for multiple events."., but then June's offer came in and it was the same as February's.

If CET doesn't have an "attractive" Q2 promotion, I will cut my visits back and let my hosts know why.

 

Yes, they have always helped me work my trips around promotions.

 

I checked TR online a few days ago and they were offering me the same promo from May or June through July or August. That I'm booked for at the end of April.I'm a little fuzzy on the dates, but it covered a three month period, it included TR points, cash and food credit. It that what ur looking for?

 

@Peath13 Re LVchix, I don't believe so. These promotions are specifically for GGWU points. Show up, and you get x amount of points, earn a certain amount of TCs and get more GGWU points.

For example:

84,000* GUARANTEED GREAT GIFT WRAP UP GIFT POINTS
and a five night stay

Earn 7,500 Tier Credits during your stay and receive a total of 112,000* Great Gift Wrap Up Bonus Gift Points.
OR
Earn 12,700 Tier Credits during your stay and receive a total of 168,000* Great Gift Wrap Up Bonus Gift Points.

Well, it will be for CET (not really, but I like to think so) if they wait too long. I am currently booked for the next two GGWU events and the 7* signature event in August. I was going to put in several 2500TC days in Q2 if they were having a promotion, but if not, I will back it down to 1000-1500TC days, and fewer trips to my local casinos in Reno/Tahoe

 

Well, Q2 has started, and without any announcement of a Q2 TC promotion.

That leaves me 4.5 (2500TC) days from DAL2, and just under 14 (2500TC) days from renewing 7*. Guess I'll just focus on GGWU and see where the TC stack up at the end of the year.

The 7* renewal party dates in Reno/Tahoe have been announced.

Gonna take advantage of everything that I "paid" CET for last year. Any low end 7* or high DAL2 feel the same?

Heading to Vegas tomorrow, plan on 2500/day and if all is going well 5,000 should be over 100,000 when we get home. I am betting the promo for 50% will be done in the 3rd quarter this year. It seems last year the first quarter was no promo also. Will see but will still be 7* by August. It is what it is just going to have some fun.........Rick

Man, just missing the GGWU event at Harrahs or didn't see it. What event is that day?

 

The April event is April 16-20 or April 20-23rd

The June event is June 2-7
