I just opened a credit line with a CET property. I also planned on doing some gambling at other CET properties during my trip. I have read that it is easy to get a line duplicated at another property. Do I need an established play and pay track record before opening additional lines at other properties or can I do so on my first trip out?

My case with MGM property's I have credit with them they didn't give me any issues; I do have credit with local MGM Grand;credit history for year. I don't think you need track record but I'm sure they look at your past play and give you lone accordingly. When I did request for Vegas it wasn't hard simple easy process; but they do look all your financials (run credit reports and bank balance &a credit info) I think they got burned one too many times. Once it's done it's very convenient to sue. Good luck

How hard to just get cash (telling them it is for slots) and just using that cash in other CET casinos?

If you keep a shitload of $ in your checking account and aren't asking for a huge line at each place, it probably won't be a problem.

But probably most small-medium players rarely end up opening lines at multiple casinos within the same chain before they ever play at one, so you may not be able to get a first-hand answer here.

Honestly, I'd just call the CET credit office and ask. 866-258-9390

That would be too easy for them to track that you didn't put it through the slots. They might even think you took it out to pay for food and other things which is frowned upon.

Ah! Had not thought about that. I will stick to my old well worn method to get a quick $1000 - no questions asked... okay a little one. LOL!

That wasn't my experience. My first line was opened at Paris. Then a year later or so I wanted to open one at Cromwell. I had to fill out the same application to open the one at Cromwell. It didn't matter at all that I had one at Paris. It wasn't hard by any means, but it wasn't a streamlined process because I already had a line at another CET prop either.

I don't know why people keep saying this.. about the checking account balance. At least in my experience. I don't keep a lot in my checking account, yet I have lines at 2 CET props for probably 10-15x my average checking account balance. I do have savings accounts at the same bank but if they based my credit line on my checking account balance I would barely be able to finance a hot dog.

Well, it's based on an assumption that if they approve a line for $5k, that they want to know you generally have that much available. If not, past payment history could be a factor in setting up a new line. Maybe we should find someone who was turned down for a line, you don't actually hear about that much.

Let's say you get as $10,000 limit a one of the TR casinos, use it and then try to get another $10,000 at another. They might limit you to the $10,000 for all TR properties per trip. That had been my experience but I have not use a line of credit at a TR property in years and when I did, I only took one LOC at a time. If they have proof you have $500,000 in a saving account attached to the checking, I can image they will make it work!  My two cents.
