Boy it looks like they will get hit with some kind of rain amounts. If you are going, be very careful.

When it rains in Vegas, the sidewalks get very slippery, so be careful.

There was a day or storms when I was there last June. It was crazy. Roads closed, cars stuck in standing water.

It looks like that kind of stuff might happen. Some nasty stuff rooling in through SoCal right to Vegas as it looks today.

3 of last 5 days had all day light rain. .25 to .5 inches. nice and slow. only flooding was homeless people living in flood channels had to move out when water came. The town is set up decent for these slow rains. Unusual for sure. roads do get slick from oil on them and people not use to driving in rain. Cold also. Hopefully next week will turn warmer. almost 10 degrees below normal all this week. Hard to get golf games in. Never seen so much snow on Mountain tops. Pretty

Just got back from a weekend trip. Lots of light rain everyday. And unfortunately, I stayed at The Linq with a car. I wasn't aware until this weekend that there is a wash just outside the parking garage. Flooding prevented cars to get in the garage. Will be my last time staying at there if I have a car and rain is in the forecast.

Yes, I think they have had pics of the very area on the news every time it happens in Vegas. Also if I remember right, PH valet area is a mess with rain.
