I just got upgraded to diamond thru Jan 31 2018.

I'll be in Vegas in Jan by myself and in Feb with a friend. So i should be able to use the dinner voucher twice since status resets Jan 31st correct?

If so what is the best use

    1)by myself
    2)with a friend?

I really depends on how much you want to come "out of pocket". You can't use it for tips, and tax is not charged on all (?) comped meals.

You can use it twice, but you can't use two, since you won't get the second one until after January 31st.

    So, figure out where $100 is best used . . . .

The first time I used one, I used it a Giada's and considered it a $100 discount since our bill came to much more than that.

The last time I used a $100 voucher was for me and my BFF on a buffet with lobster tail option. It came out to $99.50

Best use? Use it where you like to eat the most. It will cover up to $100 of food and drink. You get nothing back if you only spend $80,etc.

If you still have the one from 2016 Diamond status, you could use it in January and when you get the new one after 1/31, you can use that one anytime after that. They've got it designed so you wouldn't be able to double up on redemption.

I'm assuming you got a dining voucher through January 2017 because you got to at least 15,000 tier credits in the 2015 calendar year, and you have yet to use your dining voucher. The dining voucher you get for February 2017 to January 2018 is from getting at least 15,000 tier credits during the 2016 calendar year.

If they were a first time Diamond in 2016 & did not use that one yet, that is the one they should have to use until 1/31. Then the 2017 one 2/1 or later.

In this case since the first diamond was received at the end of December 2016, a $100 dining voucher is given for use in January 2017, and another one is given at the start of February 2017?

Regarding Ruth's Chris, I see no restrictions on the TR website.

We used our two vouchers ar Gordon Ramsay steak and still put another $100 on the bill - I thought we were being quite frugal in our menu choices!

We have used the $100 vouchers at Ruth's Chris twice in past years. Since we are both diamond, we spent $200 each time. You won't get a 4-course meal for 2 there for just $100. Maybe if you are by yourself. And the tip, if 20%, would be another $40 in actual real money.

This year, I used my diamond voucher at the Rio Seafood buffet for 2 people (I do NOT recommend this meal. AT ALL.).

This coming January (last-minute), we will use the second diamond voucher at the Caesars Palace dinner buffet or Rao's.

Then we have 2 more coming for 2017.

Best use is to use it all but not have any food left on your plate at the end.

If you want to use it for 2 people there are a couple of options that'll let you both dine for $100. At Le Cafe Ile St Louis at Paris hotel, they have a $39 prix fixe menu. It includes choice of starter, steak, 2 sides and dessert. Add in drinks and your total could be right around $100. I have also used it at Toby Keith and we ordered a starter, 2 steaks, drinks and dessert and still was a bit under $100. Both were very good.

We just saw the Le Cafe at Paris and it was $44/person (on New Years Day) but sounded like a great deal, starter soup or salad, steak, potato and desert. Just wonder if the price was a New Years pricing or possibly weekend........Rick

I had it last February so the price may have gone up. I think it is a great deal, too.

We have used it at Ruth Chris & MESA. Both good but we fell in love with MESA last time & will be back--and our bill wasn't much over $100 (but we don't do multiple courses...too much food)
