Anyone stayed at Paris recently, was just wondering if they are done with all the room remodeling, my trip is coming up pretty soon and im a bit worried about the noise.

Im booked in a Burgandy room, at check in should i mention i wanna be as far away from construction noise as possible

We were there at the beginning of the month and didn't notice anything major. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper and only noticed a little noise when I was getting ready in the bathroom. I'm sure it can't hurt to ask to be put on a floor without construction.

We just stayed at Paris from 11/24 - 11/29. We were in new Burgundy room 22nd floor. We did not hear any construction at all. Maybe they stopped it over Thanksgiving weekend?, but we did not hear anything on Monday or Tuesday either. New rooms are very nice, we had a fridge and coffee pot. Halls very nice and clean, but like someone on this message board indicated, don't know how they are going to look in couple years. Hall walls are very light, almost white. Same with room walls and decor. Hallway carpet is light, room carpeting a light gray. Overall, we really liked the new rooms. Very nice. Only issue with room was low water pressure in shower, but it got hot water very quickly. Have read that some rooms takes a while to get hot water.

If it's anything like PH they probably started from the top and are working their way down. Request a higher floor and you should be fine.

That would be great but A trip report a few weeks back mentioned that they were working on the room right next to theirs

Is Paris just doing rooms and nothing else{like casino restrooms} or we don't know?
