    Hello all,
Which one would/do you prefer to stay at and why? They are roughly the same price for the days that I am looking to stay there. Does either one have better WiFi than the other? Thanks in advance!

Stay at the freemont. They have a Tony Roma's and a better/bigger players club.

Your question is similar to "who's hotter, Rosie O'Donnell or Roseanne Barr".

Stay at the 4 Queens. They are going through a complete room remodel (I saw a remodeled room this weekend, and it is pretty nice). They also have a Tony Roma's across the street.

Video poker bars are better at Four Queens and you might get an updated room. Many properties downtown offer the absence of a Tony Roma's.

I've stayed at both and would pick the Fremont. I travel solo usually, so the small rooms at both don't bother me. The Fremont rooms do provide a comfortable chair, which I like for morning and afternoon news. I give the food nod to 4Qs, but the Fremont is ok, I especially like the 4th St Grille. 4Qs cafe and Chicago Brewing are both good. Gambing is comparable in both, but the 4Qs seems more crowded. Both have have good location in the middle of everything. My advice would be to stay at the Fremont and take what you want out of both.

    Good Luck!

if you want fridge. $15 per stay at Fremont, or get comped at end if play warrants. MSS and Cal rooms all have free fridge.

it is a toss up for sure. not sure about wifi. I have stayed at both, several times. I find the 4Q to be slightly more charming / vintage. I don't gamble at the 4Q much, so I do get better offers from the Fremont. 4Q has better restaurants, both can be quite congested, hard to walk through at peak times. Fremont casino is very smoky, and drink service can be really bad at the table games when busy. when I have free room offers at the Fremont, I stay there. if I need more nights, and the rates are about the same I choose 4Q. at any rate, you will be downtown, so everything you many want to explore is close.

If your room and bathroom comfort is important I would recommend the 4 queens over fremont. The rooms are a little bigger and more comfortable IMHO and the bathrooms are much bigger at the 4 queens.

If you bring a car I would also recommend the 4 queens, mostly because fremont you have to valet so you aren't able to park it yourself. One time the valets scratched my rental car (3 foot scratch) when the car was returned to me. Their comment - "we're not responsible for any damage done to your car". Luckily the rental company didn't charge me for the scratch but after that I never used their valet ever again.

If you are looking for "vibe" I like the fremont over the 4 queens. The 4 queens casino seems so congested by the tables. Fremont also offers $3 bj and craps, another plus.

That's interesting because I find the area by the tables at Fremont is even more congested than the Four Queens. It's hard to walk between the machines and the tables.
