Coming trip will be the first time going in November. I've looked up average temperatures for that month, but I still don't have an idea what to expect. Of course every year can be different, but what is your experience, in regards to:

Wearing a jacket during the day? And at night?

Should I bring warm clothes, or is a vest or sweater ok?

Are people still walking in shorts or flip-flops? (Not that I'm planning to wear any, but just to get an idea).

    Any other tips?

    Thanks in advance!

Highs in the upper 60's/low 70's during the day...long sleeves and jeans? Perhaps short sleeves if you're doing a lot of walking? Nights are in the 50's...light jacket. That's the usual but it can range all over the place. The only way to know for sure is to go to www.weather.com and put in for a 10 day forcast the day before you leave. That will be the most accurate.

The weather during the day is usually pretty comfortable. I prefer to wear shorts unless it's freezing and usually can.
But in the evening, all bets are off. I remember last year crossing the street from Venetian to Mirage (in shorts + a jacket) and literally running to Mirage because it was so cold.
Two years ago it rained for several days in a row and was pretty cold even during the day.
My wife always packs warmer clothes than me.
    Slot-pull is getting close!!
    Cheers!

I love cold, cold weather because I'm from Hawaya. There were November trips where it was 60's and 70's during the day and 50's at night. And a few where we froze our okole's (Hawaya for asses).

I plan to visit this December or early January.

Because I love, love, love cold weather.

    Cause I'm from Hawaya.

we go pretty much in November every year. there has been years where it's hot, and realllly cold. I usually bring a sweater just in case. if it's too cold, there's always Ross on the strip!

The desert is extremes of temperatures nite and day. I would say you'd be ok if you bring one pair of jeans and a thick sweater or pullover of some sort at least.
But again, it would be ok to just pack lightly and keep an eye out on a pullover you can quickly buy at a sundry store, if need be.
