Tipping for Grand Canyon Helicopter Tours????

    I'm taking my better half on a tour with Sundance through the Canyon with a stop for drinks for her birthday on our November trip. I have never done a helicopter tour before and wanted to know what i should tip based on a good experience?

    Its about a 3-3.5 hour trip, paid about $900ish.

    Sorry - not much help on this one, although I am curious. I tipped $20 for the Vegas night helicopter flight - that was a short trip. Others in group tipped nothing, $5 etc. So it seems to go all over the place. I would likely tip $50 for the GC tip myself. Not sure if that would be acceptable. (Somehow it doesn't seem like the 20% tip standards would apply for something like this).
