Not even close. Cromwell. Kidding, Cosmo by leaps and bounds!

As said numerous times, Cosmo. Rooms at Cromwell are small and dark. They are nice, don't get me wrong. But for what they are charging I wouldn't even consider it. And if the price was the same I wouldn't consider it. In fact it would have to be considerably cheaper for me to even have trouble making a decision. Go Cosmo!

Cosmopolitan in a heartbeat. Balconies > Giada.

I am a CET guy and my favorite place to stay is the Cromwell, I have stayed there 2 or 3 times and will be staying there again for my next trip. I have never stayed at the Cosmo and I really like the Cromwell....but if I had a vote...even I would say Cosmo.

I haven't tried Cosmo but I find Cromwell to be a favorite. Cosmo is better for sure based on reviews but just personal choice for me. I prefer darker vs bright place. Big screen TV in front of bed. Rooms are smaller than average but just right for me. I've stayed at suites multiple times as spg platinum and always don't feel secured in a big room.

Cosmo is easily worth an extra $40/night at that point, imo. And room opinion is based on reading others.

The question is who has better low tier rooms than Cosmo?

What do you mean? Like entirely up and down the Strip or just in the higher-tier properties?

You indicated you had stayed and/or played at CET props before. Is this the rate that you are getting by using your (and travel companions) total rewards card #'s? I ask only because I can come up with a total (not including RF's) of $308 for 1/31, 2/1, 2/2 & 2/3 - so there are cheaper rates for different TotalReward levels. If you are only staying the 3 nights that then drops my total to around $100.

I would definitely choose Cosmo over Cromwell (even though I am a CET junkie) for the price difference you are being quoted. However, if I could get Cromwell for $100 then I would give up Cosmo & save the difference for the next trip.

Hmmm... this is an actual toughie. I think it really depends on what atmosphere you want since the rooms I would say are pretty similar

If you want a property a little less crowded, and a little bit more low key Cromwell is your choice. If you want a lot going on, and crowds, and some nice eye candy, then Cosmo.
