it's always a sight seeing those just coming in vs those leaving....big smiles vs 1000 yard stare

That's crazy, but they want the big spenders in those hotels I guess!! I never played in those casinos myself, for the same reason. Nice hotels to visit, but my gambling will be done somewhere else, where I can play a lower denomination to start and raise my bets if I am doing well. The slots on the other hand can be played there. The machines at those newer hotels tend to have the latest games.

Actually there is weird thing that happens with certain slow periods where the limits stay high.

Basically if they are only going to have 6 or 7 players at 2 tables on the floor, generally hitting and running and playing casually, it may as well be at the higher limit.

When it is busy enough to be fully staffed it is easier to run a couple lower tables to pick up the stragglers who would keep on walking past the higher limits.

It was fun following your trip Breeze and it came through that you definitely enjoyed this one vs last year. Looking forward to your summary.

    Breanna - I enjoyed last year's.
The groundhogs destroyed all of my vegetables.

Didn't seem like you did from the report last year, so if you did...this one sounded way more fun and as a reader, it was fun to read. Maybe I'm swayed by seeing your smiling face and not the grumpy avatar Soprano face :) lol

Sorry about your garden :(. That is very disappointing! I didn't lose veggies but lost a bunch of lilies to those damn red beetles this year and I was on patrol every day and tried neem oil, insecticide soap, plucking the bastards off, everything...they won! I just read that baby powder works, so I will have a Costco supply ready next year

Wow, that guy Breeze can write. Most of it still applies. I hope to get a summary done after I poison the groundhogs.

The long awaited recap and additional stuff.

I've long since given up trying to herd cats at a concert. Everybody is drunk and/or stoned, so just enjoy the show.

Dennis DeYoung was great opener. Did all The Styx stuff.

Boston rocked! Tom Scholes is a great performer.

The Downtown Events Center is a damn good venue, IMHO. It was 100 degrees F, but it really wasn't bad at all.

4.8 out of 5 Breeze stars. The deduction is for running out of beer.

More from Fremont. I wanted to pose with some showgirls street performers, but I couldn't find any I liked.

Did well at BJ and Craps and VP.

Lobster mania and 3 CP bit a chunk out of it.

Met some cool people while gambling . There was still the collection of idiots, drunks and clueless foreign tourists who have no idea how to play. I was forced to leave a table early twice because of this. I mean come on, standing on 7's and soft 15's against face cards?!?!

Did a Strip casino crawl in 110 degree heat and survived. Made some dough along the way.

Very, very impressed at makeovers of Linq, Casino Royale, O'Shea's and Cromwell (Bill's).
Mirage also remodeled. Revolution replaced by a nice bar/restaurant named Still.

I really marveled at all of the new retail and restaurants that have sprung up in just a year!

I'll probably think of more stuff and add on.

I can't believe it went by so fast.

I saw on Trooper YouTube they closed the Linq Poker Room. Is this becoming a norm? I know the casinos don't make much on Poker rooms
