I hear there's a mlife platinum/noir lounge inside mirage hotel by the front counter... I just need to know if there's one for sure and is it open to two above mentioned card holders or casino host need to program the keys?

It is primarily a check in room. They have a small fridge with sodas and beer, and a bottle of wine on ice. Couple of seats, a couch. But, it is a check in room in the end. No sp[ecial keycard. They do ask you to show them if you stop in.

Its next to the front desk (to the right if you are facing the desk). It has been years since I went there, but when I did it, you had to be coded for access, not just have a certain tier level. But as I said, that was years ago and the access may have changed since then

It's your first door on the right when you use the main entrance (directly next to the Bell Desk).

I normally get a Tower 1 BR Suite when I stay there and just use the Platinum Check In Line at the Front Desk.

The only time I was ever told to check in in the room you speak of is when I had a 2 BR Penthouse and the hotel offered the limo service from McCarran.

Afraid I'll get smacked over the head if I step inside without being told to go there.

Hi buddy. We always check in at the VIP lounge. Unfortunately your platinum card doesn't allow you to use the lounge. Arrange it with your host before hand. It's handy if drink service is slow on the casino floor as you can pop in an grab some beers. It also doesn't matter what room type you're staying in. I used to get in the lounge when I was only gold.

They give you black key cards if you are gold or Platinum.
when we were there Late December last year
they gave my sister and her hubby a set also.
they would wake up and go make bloody marys and stay there chat with the friendly staff and drink for 2 or 3 hours.
    they loved it.
My wife stocks up on the Ocean spray juices bottled waters chips and sodas lol

They give you a black key card when you check in at VIP lounge. You have to be coded by a host unless you are noir.. but if you're noir you're getting vip anyway. Platinum means nothing for access to their lounge and they will kick you out if you're asked.

Yes, all the above info are correct.
You have to be coded to use the VIP lounge. Your tier level or your room type doesn't matter.
I had access when I was Gold and stayed in a standard room.
The other time I was Platinum and stayed in a suite, but no VIP lounge access.
They give you black VIP room card.

You need to request VIP checkin, not the key itself. VIP checking will then give you the Black Key.

If your a vip invited guest you can go in there. I do it all the time even when I havent been for a couple years and I have dropped to lowest level like saphire. I have a host that looks after me. I have never been higher then gold. Too expensive flying from Canada and the exchange to become a frequent flyer I wish.
