We booked a room at MSS for late August and it comes with a Silver Card. This is a first for us. Just looking for some info on what it covers/includes.
I think Silver includes same as Gold, sans Redwood Grille and possibly one other (if Cal has a new restaraunt that I don't know of)
I think this is true. Joe once said all was inclusive with gold. No redwood or drinks from the bar with silver. Good job on the offer. I still just go by prior to eating and get a value $ "check" to present to the hostess. But it would be nice to know you just order and swallow. Obviously you have left us low-rollers wayyyyy behind. Let us know how it goes.
I think asking for the $ "check" works just as well. We're just a little timid about asking since we don't like the possibility of hearing "No". I'm still waiting to hear how the doughnuts are, and the next party. Your wife told me you could go.
A couple of years back I was chatting with a gentleman at the Market St. cafe's counter where a lot of single diners eat. He escorted his elderly father to Vegas and we talked about the Silver card that his father qualified for. He said with that card you can eat at all of the Boyd owned restaurants EXCEPT: Redwood Grill at the Cal. 2nd St. Grill at the Fremont. You could also use the card to eat at the MSS buffet and the Fremont buffet. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
Reading directly from the card I had end of May. Has been approved for room, food and beverage charges at casino area bars at the California hotel& casino,Fremont hotel&casino, and Main Street station casino, Brewery& hotel. Market street cafe, cal club snack bar, paradise buffet, paradise cafe, lanai express, garden court buffet, 777 reasaurant & brewery.. The cal club snack bar no longer exists . Hope this helps you. Good Luck
