Hi All, I have a reservation for a Tower Luxury Suite in June and I am seeking some information.

    - Which tower will provide me with the best view of the strip?
    - How far is it to Southpoint Casino? I am bowling in the National Tournament there.
    - Any recommendations for a nice golf course to play at? I'll be renting clubs and willing to pay $60-$80 for a round.

    Thanks All In Advance!

Room: East Tower facing East will give you the best view of the airport and some sort of strip view. The strip view is limited due to the way the towers were built. I don't think you will get any strip view from the west tower as it sits behind the East tower.

South Point: This is an easy drive, just hop on Las Vegas Blvd. and head south from Luxor, if you are driving I would give it 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. I believe it's just over 5 miles.

Golf: It's off season now in Vegas with the weather warming up so golf is cheap! (Well cheap for Vegas) Check out VIP Golf Las Vegas, they have most, if not all the golf courses listed and they can provide rental clubs; even if you don't plan on booking through them, it's a wealth of information on what each course is charging without having to go directly to each website. If memory serves me right, they also list if the course is aerating so you can avoid playing on sandy greens.

If you are going to be in the room, maybe. We aren't in the room enough that the extra room matters. When I asked my host about the Premier suite she said the comp value isn't worth it :) Hope that helps.
