    Crazy. What a story.

Has there ever been a bigger long shot in major sports? I sure can't think of one.

NBC Sports was trying to do an odds comparison to the 5000 to 1 odds they were given at the beginning of the season.

1980 US Hockey team was 1000 to 1.
Rams winning SB XXXIV was 300 to 1.

The biggest upset in sports history, anything even remotely similar won't happen again during our life time. Unbelievable but yet so great!

Just curious, ..was the EPL available for future bets in Vegas? or just individual games. Wonder if there were Vegas odds LC
    Thanks

Until the next time it happens with yet a bigger underdog. Odds aren't everything, the proof is in the pudding.

What Leicester did won't happen again in a very long time. It's like getting hit by lightning 3 days in a row. These were castoffs from all other teams.

C'mon man. It's like winning Powerball for 1000 straight drawings!!!!

Getting hit by lightning 3 days in a row is an impossible event to create. A big underdog winning a few games, yeah, it happens, and it will happen again. Let's be real here.

Are you coming off an adrenaline high, akin to watching Rocky knock out Drago? Go jog a few miles and you'll be all set.

You're comparing it to a one day lucky event Nick. This was a season long event where the big boys knock out the small teams over the long haul.

And you're comparing it to "getting hit by lightning 3 days in a row".

I'm not knocking the accomplishment..... its astounding. I'm knocking the overstatement that we'll never see anything like this ever again and the insanity of equating it to getting struck by lightning 3 days in a row. Lets be real man.

Ok Nick. You win. I have only been watching the Premiere league for 40 years. I have never seen a story like this. I'm probably just being ridiculous

The next time it happens with a yet bigger underdog won't be in the next 50 years at least, might be hundreds of years. Like I said, this was by far the biggest upset in SPORTS history. How long has professional sports been around? The odds sure aren't everything but having followed EPL for my whole life, I can't really put into words how big this is. Even if Cleveland Browns went onto a have 19-0 season, it would still be minor league upset compared to Leicester.

Again, that is not true. The New England Patriots are the only team to finish the regular season without a loss since the Dolphins. Both were superior teams and the feat has been accomplished twice in 50 years.

The Browns will likely be underdogs in every game this year. The odds of them finishing 19-0 would not be "minor league" in comparison. If you extrapolated the odds of the Browns going undefeated by the spread per game over 16 games, you would be astonished. It can't and won't happen.
