Heading out to LV for my 7* trip this weekend - it's my GF's birthday and we're going to see Pitbull @ PH on Saturday night. I'm still undecided about where we are staying. I've been bouncing back and forth between Ultra Hip @ PH or newly renovated room in the Julius Tower @ CP or the Red Room @ Paris or one of the newly renovated rooms @ Bally's.

Any recommendations? I expect LV to be crowded this weekend bc of March Madness so looking forward to having a great time.

I have stayed at all of these except Caesars (but I will be staying there in two weeks!), and my opinion is this: Paris first choice, then Bally's then PH. Though I only had a regular room at PH so the Ultra Hip is likely better.

Also stayed in all except CP.....The Jubilee rooms at Bally's are larger & can have a great Eifel Tower / Fountain view. That would definitely be my 1st choice. The Red Rooms @ Paris are getting worn & the rooms at PH are just too small to be really comfy.....

If all rooms were comped, here's my choices:
    1) Julius tower at CP
    2) Red room at Paris
    3) Jubilee room at Ballys
    4) Ultra hip at PH

Yes, the room will be comped as part of my 7* trip. I was just at CP for the superbowl and stayed at one of the newer Octavius Tower rooms and liked it but it was very far from the casino floor, and had heard good things about the new Julius Tower rooms not only because of it's location (a stone's throw from the craps pit) but also because they're nicely decorated, etc, but have read equally good things about the new Ultra Hip rooms at PH. I'm leaning towards the latter because that's where the Pitbull concert will be held.

I guess I'm suffering from a case of analysis paralysis; a nice first-world problem to have, no? HAHA

We stayed in one of the Julius tower rooms in January. The room is smaller but everything in room was new the bathroom had a nice big shower the tv was pretty good size, the bed was comfortable. But the best thing to me was the convenience of where the room was located the elevator is located right by the cashier cage right in the middle of the casino.

Each place has its own experience. I always ask whats most important to you? For some its the view, others the resort ammenities, gambling, etc.
Personally I will forgo the walk for everything CP has in other categories. The Julius towers take what was the smallest footprint rooms and upscales them. However unless your in a suite they are far below Octavius tower.
Likewise all the other hotels Paris, Ballys, and PH don't compete with CP rooms except on view (should you score a great room). If it was me, I'd take Caesars Palace everytime, but then again I am a luxury consumer and besides Cromwell
that's all you have to pick from in the CET portfolio.

So every is saying the Julius rooms (which have been newly renovated), but can someone explain why they're also the cheapest rooms at Ceasars?

Is there any way you can mix and match where you stay on your trip? I am a big fan of changing up the hotel you stay at. This helps solve for three potential issues: 1) being overwhelmed by Vegas and not exploring outside your casino 2) having a bad room (if it's only for 2 nights, you're more okay to deal with it) 3) Feeling like the trip is dragging (this is more the case when the trip is eclipsing 4+ nights, but a lot of people say you can't do Vegas for more than X days, but when I went there for 4 nights, I felt it was wayyy too short. Why? because I switched to the Venetian mid-way through and experienced an entire different casino.

I'd do Ultra Hip at PH, then Julius at Caesars. The Ultra Hip rooms are really nice now, everything in them are brand new and they're really bright. I love CP but I like the location of PH better.

Just because they are the cheapest room doesn't mean they are not nice rooms. When I went online and checked the Forum Tower rooms now come up as lowest price.

I'm back rom my 7* trip 2 weeks ago. My last 9 stays were at CP. I usually stay in Augustus tower. This time I ended up in the Octavius in a Royal Suite. Octavius is a fairly long walk to the front door, Augustus is closer. The rooms in Augustus are a bit larger but Octavius are newer. Forget Julius, they're newer but much smaller. If you have a host they should get be able to get you a nice room. If you get a rom at Paris or PH try for a suite.

Really.... there is not that much difference in staying at any of these places.

I put more weight on where you will be spending time. For example, heading to the show with Pit Bull. Which is more comfortable: taking the elevator, or dealing with taxi or car?

Walking from Paris would not be much of a deal as long as the weather is reasonable, but other hotels?

And, if you like Pit Bull, I am guessing you are more of a P-Ho person. So....

It's still one of the oldest Towers there, renovated or not, which mean as a smaller room in terms of square footage. Plus, even though they were announced awhile ago, they have just started the promotional push on them. I think that when you combine the renovation (which I am hearing good things about) with the location of the tower, it should compete pricewise with Palace until they decide to update it. It's taken forever, but we may actually be at a point where you don't have to warn people to avoid certain rooms at CP.

With the show at PH and my favorite gambling out of all the CET properties, PH is my top pick. Stayed there the last few times I have been in Vegas.

So, let us know how it was. I would have voted for PH too, to be close to the venue.
