    Taken from my TR

    Gordon Ramsay Steak was running late, so we couldn't get seated early, but no matter. We sat in the Sports book watching the Warriors cover the spread. Then they called us for dinner.

    We had coffee, and they served it with "ABC" spoons

    GR_ABC_Spoons.jpg

    A = Amaretto
    B = Bailey's Irish Cream
    C = Creme de menthe

    We ate up the $500 TR meal vouchers plus $100, but since we were comping, they didn't charge tax, so there was a "savings" of $40+

    So, my comments on the meal. Everything was wonderful. The portions were filling, yet not "stuffing". IMHO, the Beef Wellington was "meh". It was good, but I won't order it again. It's kind of like the Pan Roast at Texas Station.

    Les asked me which I liked better the Duet of Lamb or the Beef Wellington, and I said the Duet of Lamb. He also asked me which I liked better the beef Wellington or the Pan Roast. I said that I thought that they were about the same, and I would never order either of them again, not because they were done poorly, but just because they didn't have an "overwhelming appeal" that would make me want to order it again. Been there, done, that, have the t-shirt.

    I am assuming it wasn't just you who ate this all. :)
    Nice pictures.
    We had the rib cap twice and really enjoyed it both times.
    Thanks for the info on the Beef Wellington as this seems to get mixed reviews.
    How was the mac and cheese?

    This was on a belated birthday trip with three guys that I've hung out with for 45 years. The full details are in my TR.

    To paraphrase from someone "This ain't Kraft Mac and Cheese". It was good, the mix of cheeses lent toa unique taste and the English peas added texture. This is a dish for the Mac and Cheese aficionado.

    Is there a dress code there? Thinking of going there but showing up in jeans and t-shirt.
