MyVegas Combining MyVegas with mLife comps

Is it possible to combine a free room offer through myvegas with mlife comps? I have 3 free nights through mLife but i need a 4th night free.

 

Obviously depends on the calendar for NYNY. If NYNY is offering a free night the day you need it, then it shouldn't be a problem. You'll have to book them separately, but they should be able to combine the reservations. If you don't have to stay at the same place then it definitely shouldn't be an issue.

 

I've been trying to achieve this as well...they told me "no" over the phone, when I tried to book consecutively at Monte Carlo. However, the MyVegas rep said that different hotels would be easier to double dip.

Sounds easy until you try to redeem dates! I just wasted over an hour and still can't get a "free" room, despite the date of 2/24 being shown in gold. This is not easy!

My best option was Excal for $50ish, all in, for the night.

One other caution, I plowed thru the max 5 cancellations trying this.

I was under the impression that the room rewards don't count toward the cancelation limit because you couldn't know the availability until you purchased the award.

 

The room reward cancellations do not count toward the 5. Many people are saying they have not been able to combine a MyVegas room and an MLife offer or even add a MyVegas room to an existing reservation. This has been over the last few days.

 

My info is probably outdated and maybe doesn't fully apply but I used 2 free nights from myVegas and added a 3rd at casino rate to it, which had some other free play associated to it. I called down the morning I checked out and they comped off the last night which would have been casino rate.

 

Yes, outdated, since April 1 last year each person can only book 1 MyVegas comp night total between all of the MGM properties.

 

I have 3 free nights at NYNY through mLife.... so it sounds like I wouldn't be able to add a 4th night? It's not that big of deal, and I think I might be able to get back-end for the 4th night. We'll see.

 

Wow, that's a terrible change. I still have close to 6 million LPs.. I haven't been able to find availability on anything I can even use them on editor at least a night stay.

 

I ended up booking thru MyVegas 1 night at Excalibur....I never directly asked about room cancellation. The girl on the phone shared my concern about the 5x limit.

My main takeaway is that MyVegas rewards aren't what they used to be. Too bad....but hopefully the $10, $25 and $50 free play will turn into much more $$$$$$$

 

You can cancel up to 5 rewards in a 30 day period. But cancelling room rewards don't count toward that limit. This would be cancelling the room "reward", not the room after you book it through the hotel.
