Arrived at the Plaza Casino last night

Hello friends.Wife and I arrived at the Plaza last night friday about 7pm.Front desk was very nice to us.We ask for the casino host yolla but was told to try in the morning sat?.

We got to meet Todd Bridges outside the entrance to the Plaza Casino where my wife and I were asked to do a Show camera recorded promotion intereview which we agree to.We had fun meeting Todd and after the interview were given some FREE ticket s to his show.Nice way to begin our 3 day visit of the Plaza here.

We are up now Saturday morning and before we find our morning java will attempt to meet up with the Casino host yolla?.

So far our room is clean and offers FREE internet with NO need for a password to the Wifi which is nice.

Wife and I will report back on our experience at the Todd Bridges show called "Lovers or Losers the Game Show".Doors open at 8pm and show begins at 8:30 pm tonight.

Wife and I tried a second time to locate you at the rewards desk this morning Saturday,we were told you were not in??

We have been trying.

 

i'm guessing if she's staying till 8:30 she may not come in till noonish.

 

Good Monday morning folks here from the Plaza Las Vegas.So far wife and I are having a blast!.Wife played slots all day and night lol...and I tried....again tried my luck on the Black jack tables lol.We are NOT lucky on this trip ...does anyone ever get lucky in Lost Wages?? lol.....nahhhh ha ha ha

Have to report a incident while attempting to use my room coupon game match play for $10 bucks....Went to a black Jack table and presented the coupon to the dealer.He placed the coupon on the table with my ten $10 dollars on top of the game match play room coupon....dealer deals the cards....I get a face card....two guys to my right both tell me "Good luck!".Wife is talking to me and interrupts me to tell me I got a ACE.

Guys at the table tell me "Nice hit!"...Dealer waits for the 'Pit Boss' (Asian older guy sort of tall and slim) ..Pit Boss comes over and begins to tell the dealer "We don't take the match play at this table". I begin to wonder and the 2 guys begin to wonder what the @#@$?? is going on?

We can al clearly notice the pit boss is upset at the dealer for accepting the match play coupon.So we wait for what is going to happen and after a good minute of the two talking about it (the pit boss and the poor dealer young white guy...I wish I had got their first names? sorry) ...pit boos allows the win with the match play.Good for them...we were all about to go wild on them if they did not accept the match play,because I was apparently at the so-caled 'Wrong Black table' for the room match play coupon???.

Anyways...I was not happy camper and immediately left and move on to play something else at the casino.Wife and I played all day pretty much with no luck lol.Sorry to report we left outside onto fremont street and got to watch a Rock band preform on the street stage.The band was called Frank and Steins.Awesome band dress up for halloween and rocking out the super large crowd.

Wife and I tried our luck on the fremont street and the Golden Nugget and finally our casino luck began to change lol....We did not recover anything close to what we left at the Plaza lol....but it helped lol....

The point is we are having a great time in Las Vegas especially being at a casino walking distance from the Fremont Experience and the live bands.

Now it day 3 Sunday and wife and I are preparing for another fun day here in Viva Las Vegas!!

May try a third time to meet up with the Plaza's casino host 'Yolla'...We are just not crossing paths??....Us seniors (Wife and I) must get up way too early for the Hosts here.

** PS I have been taking photos here to share ...just I forgot to pack my camera data transfer cable darn it lol....I promise to upload and share when I do return home on either this monday or tuesday at the latest...

Glad they capitulated on the match play, but I have no idea why they didn't want you to use it to begin with.

Does plaza have a (dumb) policy of not using any match play on BJ maybe?

Hosts are not at the rewards desk, but the people at the desk can tell you where the hosts are.

 

It's strange but I've read that this happened to other VMB'rs also. I don't understand why the casino promotes this matchplay but doesn't make it clear to everyone (players and dealers) as to the restrictions of this promotion.

I'm glad they did the right thing and honored the play but they need to get their act together. Evidently the promotion specs are not getting out to the front line workers.
