Is this a for real "ALL" or is it the usual "ALL" that is more like "I only checked the $5 and $10 tables and didn't bother to check any limits higher than that"

Also, thinking: when did you check? Was it on a weekend? During a big event/convention?

That they have the 6/5 rule on a little digital screen has me thinking that they might be just going to 6/5 on weekends and/or during big concert events or conventions and that normally they will be 3:2

all there table have the digital screen thats how they do it there.

feel free and go over and sit and play for yourself at monday 1 pm and see what they pay you on a bj , you wont be getting a happy ending

there single deck and dd have been 6/5 for the last year or more

Paperposter has it correct, as far as my experience goes. I was there for 4 days over Labor Day weekend. I can confirm all games on the main floor, at all stakes, were 6/5. I played for a fair bit in the high limit room, 3:2 S17 games at $100 min. Dealers and floor staff in the HL area were great.

The new Center Bar had just reopened. It looks really good, in my opinion.

That's what I observed as well... there was no shortage of players at the 6:5 tables.

Must be part of the plan from the "new" management. I hear they are also laying off the full time dealers and hiring extra-board dealers for a few days per week :( .

Extra-board are on an "as needed" basis. It's a really lousy way to work actually, because you may get a few days or no days. No more than 32 hours per week max and no benefits. I'm hearing that's the way you have to start on "the Strip", then you get more hours if they like you and eventually get to full time. I've been told anywhere from 6 months (best case ?) to several years (more likely) before you might get the chance at full time.

Thank you to the accountants and MBAs - where's the Mob when we need them :D .
