Any suggestions on the best Reno casino for room comps, food or play?

El Dorado has always treated me well as a low roller. Always at least a 2-for-1 room available.

If you are also a Vegas guy, Harrah's connection to those casinos seems to increase Reno comps. I haven't stayed with them in years but I can still get midweek comps.

I'm a pretty low roller, and I get decent comps from Peppermill (3 nights suite/$75FP & tournaments and events) & Atlantis (3 nights/$25FP & tournaments & events), and also get offers from El Dorado (2 nights/$20FP & events) for minuscule play. Also Harrah's offers in line with my usual CET crap.

FWIW, my Peppermill offers started almost immediately after my first visit, but my Atlantis offers took a few months.

Heh. Never been to Reno. Get weeknights at lower CET vegas props.

On reading this I checked my Harrah's Reno calendar. Pretty much all weekdays and some weekends comp. Interesting ......

Comps in Reno are very aggressive compared to LV, but of course rooms and restaurants top out at what would be considered midrange at best in Vegas. Atlantis and Peppermill are two of the nicer properties there and comp very well for smallish play. Harrahs Reno is not a nice place, if you are tied to CET you are better off at the harrahs or Harvey's in South Tahoe which are reasonably nice and give you the same offers as harrahs Reno.

Be aware downtown Reno can be very dull and depressing for some people but if you like downtown LV you'll be Ok in Reno. Tahoe has more of a party atmosphere especially in high summer and ski season.

Thanks guys. I am a CET total Rewards member and mid week at Harrah's is real cheap ( $27).

Don't forget the resort fee which they just added months ago.

Anywhere in Reno is EASY for room comps.
