That's also my local casino - the no vig on losing buy bets means they don't take the 5% when you buy a number (usually the 4 or 10) until you win. Pretty sure they have always been like that, but they are advertising it now.

MY local as well, hmmm wait they opened a casino in Mass so that is more local LOL. I went to Foxwoods once and was very underwhelmed. Given that was probably 10 years ago. It's Vegas or nothing for me I guess :)

Wow that is really good. NO VIG on Buy bets is when you place a number to hit before 7 so that is like free odds. No Vig on losing bets mean they do not take the 5% VIG on (Buy and LAY) so I get they only charge a 5% Vig on the LAY or (DON'T) bets. Could someone in the East cost verify that? If that is the Case I'm might have to fly out to Foxwood again. I would think it is NO Vig on losing bets. That is common but NO Vig on BUY bets? I have not heard of that with NO VIG on losing bets.

Kimsa70 too much for you to worry about.

Here's the website pushing the 10x odds on craps. I live about an hour from Foxwoods.

Note, it's only on select tables. Stargazer is the casino on the 26th floor. That's where all the high limit tables are.

If you come out to CT, let me know. I can hook you up with a host. :)

the way they worded that is very confusing,

but the small print makes me think it's only on losing buy bets,

    which is normal.

And I am sure half of Ireland was there. It was crazy. They actually drank Whiskey Down dry of Jameson.

And too add .... i believe they shut down one or two of the bars at MGM because it was getting out of hand. I have picture somewhere that shows they took about 20 of the barstools out of the center bar to either make room or maybe just a few less things to throw. [emoji4]

I think it was alot but also don't think WD or MGM planned very well. I spent a good bit of time at that bat and they were out early in the weekend.

Let me get the summary of this trip before I start my new TR.
Summary of what was done on the to do list.
    1. We did get together the last night I was in Vegas with Pleepleus. Only because I missed my flight. AA was oversold so told me to take the next flight. TSA lines was super long and I got on the wrong tram to Term D and not Term C. Everything was a cluster so guess I was not suppose to leave? I had a room at Cosmopolitan booked so I had a room. Still don’t know the reason I was suppose to stay but I did.
    2. NO got caught up at the Playboy pool party and by the time I got back Packer had the Wynn Phantom take Broncofn to Westgate.
    3. I did do this and I actually got in the pool
    4. I only went to the pool party did not go to club as I was at the Wynn that evening with fellow VMBers
    5. Missed this. I know it was a great figth.
    6. Drop little bro to the games. I did see James Hardin and talked with Mark Cuban at Wynn
    7. NO this is the new one on list I’ll keep trying
    8. NO but neither did Broncofn he got stuck on a heater at the blackjack table and I was on a win streak with Natedog at Wynn. Had a blast with our slot contest and UTH.
    9. A BIG NO 4-4 so I had 4 wining trips and the beginning and now 4 losing trips in a row. NOT GOOD.
    10. Did not go eat at Aria. They burned me again. Did have dinner at Mizumi with Natedog, SW with Packer and broncofn and a bunch of people. Lakeside with pleepleus and broncofn.

Pre birthday get together with the Degens
    2. Take broncofn to Westgate for super contest (do I have to put on the hat and jacket and open the back door for you broncofn?)
    3. Pool and Cabana at Wynn with the Degens
    4. Playboy Pool party and night club party with the playboy bunnies
    5. UFC 189
    6. NBA Summer League games
    7. Pinball HOF
    8. Maybe go see MJ One at Mandalay Bay with Broncofn
    9. Make this trip 5-3 for winning trips to Vegas this year
    10. Dinner at Julian serrano, Mizumi, SW, Andrea’s and Biscayne

    :soapbox::soapbox::soapbox::soapbox::soapbox::soapbox::soapbox::soapbox::soapbox::soapbox:

Soap box about Aria, Just Ignore this if you don’t like to read me BITCH.
After the last screw up with Aria why did I book them for this trip? I had a FP and show tickets and resort credits so I booked the room also my brother was coming with me so I figured I would keep the reservation.
I called Guest service and told them I was coming and to make sure nothing goes wrong. When I checked in I asked for a manager and told them what had happen the last trip and to make sure this stay goes well.

I get to the room and first thing the AC is so loud that there is no way I was going to be able to sleep. I call the front desk was on hold for over 30 mins. (timer on the phone). I tell the front desk I need another room. He tells me that there are no more rooms and he will have to send mainatance to come to look at it but is a normal noise. No way I’m going to risk this so I ask for a manager. A manager gets on the phone finds me another room and says my keys will work just wait.
I get another room down the hall. Guess what the AC is quite in this one so to say that the noise was normal in the other room is BS. I check all my keys that they work and look around the room and everything is fine with the room. Keep in mind I got a standard king room. Nothing special. So there should be a lot of them. I was offered a corner suite by my host but declined it since I just wanted a reg room for my brother and figure they couldn’t screw this up. Since I had a parlor suite at Wynn and a SLS Lux King suite, there was no need for a suite here at Aria.
So I took some of my toiletries out and freshen up and leave.

Later on that night I drop my brother off at Aria and as I’m driving off I get a call the room key does not work. None of the keys work. So I go back down to the front desk. Wait in the long line since invited guest is closed. I get to the front and ask for a manager. I get the manger. Tell her this is BS and why does my room key not work? Technical issues. OK I’ll take that as technical issues not her fault.
I’m really not happy about this so Please make sure nothing goes wrong the rest of my stay. She says nothing else will.
Fast forward to check out three days later.
I go to my room at Aria to get my things. And my room key does not work again. I go to the front desk and ask for new keys again. My little brother had left already but my spare toiletries are still there so I go and it is all gone along with my spare phone charger. It is 9am and the room is clean like new and everything is thrown away.
I flag down security and ask them what happen to my personal items. They find the maid and ask her she said she cleaned my room but there was nothing in the room? Security asked if I want to file a report? Over a tooth brush , floss and phone charger? Not worth my time. So I leave.

At 10:15am I get an email asking if I wanted a late check out.
Whatever, I go to Lemongrass to get some seabass for broncofn since I still have resort credits to use.
So when I try to pay they tell me I’ve been checked out? I didn’t check out yet. I call the front desk they reopen my account so I can charge my food and then I get it and leave.
I don’t know why I even bother, but I go look for my on site host but he is not in so I talk to the host on duty. I tell him that Aria has a great casino but the Hotel sucks.
He pulls up my play of $1k average and said I was gambling at Mandalay Bay and not here, and my host is based in Dallas. Now I have to say this is one of the nicest host I have ever talked to say. I was welcome to gamble here but I will not be getting any more hotel offers in the future since I don’t like the hotel I should just stay someplace else, but since I like the casino I’m welcome to gamble here anytime but bring Cash since I no longer have a LOC here.
He said it so professionally I have to give Aria credit they are very polite even when they tell you to leave.

He said My host in Dallas can book you any room she wants and fully comp you if she wants but Aria will not. And he said this in a very professional manner and politely. I think they are giving polite classes on how to talk to guest.

I’ll slam the survey and sure enough I get a call back from the same guy as last time. And same question why am I staying at Aria if I don’t like it. I don’t like getting F over by the hotel staff.
After 45mins we agree to disagree and I hang up since he will not offer me any sort of compensation.
I do a follow up letter and copy Paul Berry. And I get another apology letter that Mr. Berry’s office is sending me Shadow creek golf balls. I guess that is something. And I’m welcome to enjoy the baccarat tables anytime.
Don’t know how to take that weather they want me back or not but after reading Packers post of PGP. I’ll pass.
Sorry for the rant. Should I follow up with a letter to Jim Murren or just stop beating a dead horse?

What is your goal PP? To make sure this doesn't happen to other guest? To get something free out of them which you already get? To have dinner with Jim Murren? If the dinner one happens I want to go! I would put all that stuff in a hot air balloon and let it float away.... As you say, casino is great, hotel sucks. Im sure the hotel will be great next time. Come with me..

Yeah PP don't dwell on this. Move on, Vegas is so big somebody will be nice to you eventually (or if your standards are too high never). And by the time you rotate back to Aria again it will be like a new experience!

Thank you natedog So many other places to move on to.

On a Side Note Natedog and I had a great time at Wynn this trip. We was able to crush a shoe. Still can't thank natedog enough to let me gamble in his private salon. Then for fun we did the Slot contest and I lost that and then to UTH. This was like the First time I played this and did not know what I was doing but had a great time. Dealers made some money and I made some money. Will need to play some more UTH next time. So, had I just gamble with natedog this would have been a Winning trip. When will I learn. Just gamble with natedog. :nworthy:

Packer, broncofn and I played some blackjack and had some fun. So it was a great trip. Had fun times with my friends and good dinners.

Had to share this with my fellow. VMB. I was down big time to my last 1k. And won it all back. I cut this shoe.

Just need one of these next weekend

The next hand was a player 5 to 2.

Player drew a 4 to be 9 and banker drew another 2. To be 4. I lost the table max.

I color up and left. And went home
