Downtown Grand comp room resort fee? Stay req for freeplay?

In typical DTG fashion I just received an offer today, July 9, that began on July 1 also offering tickets to a concert last weekend. But alas....they have offered me 2 free nights. The question I have is there a resort fee for comp rooms? And if I want to claim just my freeplay, is a stay required. It'd be a bummer to have to pay $20 to get my freeplay.

 

You won't be charged a resort fee on comped rooms.
As per the free play, does your offer specify? My July offer specifically states an active room reservation is required in order to redeem the free play.

 

As far as I can tell the free play is separate from the room.

 

When I stayed at DTG on a comped room, I had to sign the electronic device saying there was an $18 per night resort fee but they never charged it to my credit card.

 

Do all the offers you guys recieve also show Up online or in the mypoints app? Or are these separate offers?

Because I have Some offers in the app but I never recieve anything through Mail or email...

 

The offers on the app are the same as they are on the mailer.

For my DTG offers, I need to have an active room reservation for the food comp, but not the free play.

(PS, I contacted DTG about the September offers, and they said they should be released "within a week". Let's hope so, as I don't want to wait until a week before I go.)

 

Same here, my email offer, post card and offers in their app all match and are the same.

I will be keeping my eyes peeled for October offers. I'd like to use it for one night when I get in late and then move down to the strip the next day. I always end up downtown at least once any way so this will make sense so I can get my Pizza Rock fill. Perhaps a breakfast at DuPar's will be in order.
