We are looking for a reasonably priced, good food, pleasant environment Italian on the Strip. Staying at Harrahs and will probably walk. Would like entrees in the $25-30 range and hope to spend around a $100 for dinner for two, a glass of house wine and a 15-20% gratuity.

    Suggestions?

Nice atmosphere, good food, and reasonably priced- give it's location.

Just check your bill, carefully. They tried to stiff me with an extra $80 or so last year. Showed up on my bill at checkout. I keep photos of all my receipts for business purposes. Could have been a mistake but you never know. MGM Accounting reversed the charge.

I've eaten there 20 plus times as I stay at Monte Carlo frequently. The food is good, service is very good. I've never had to wait for a table and wonder how long the restaurant can last. It is rarely really busy.

There's also Maggiano's up at the Fasion Mall. A chain but a decent one at decent prices. Bautistas of course is Mecca for Italian. I haven't been in several years but it's on my radar for another visit soon. I have three or four more trips to plan in the next few months.

I really enjoy Buddy V's in the Venetian. Everything I have tried has been very good, although one friend was disappointed in her pizza. It's a bit hustle/bustley so not particularly romantic but good food at decent prices. And very convenient to Harrah's.

Yeah, I was going to suggest Fellini's as well, but the OP would need to take the Monorail or The Duece to it. Their food and service are good and the prices better than the lower Strip. I usually get the large carafes of house wine because they are a smokin' deal.

We really enjoyed Trevi at the Forum Shops last trip, and we plan on going there for dinner again this time. Nice atmosphere, friendly servers and good food!

    Not on the strip...but
They will send a limo for you with a reservation! Try Casa D'Amor
Took my BIL and his wife there in early April....he is now converted and will make it a mainstay of every LV trip!

I'll vouch for both Fellini's at The STRAT and Trevi at Caesars.

    (And, there's always Battista's!) :) :) :)

I agree with DVino at MC. We just discovered it this year. We leave 1 or 2 days without reservations so we can investigate the Strip and when we found ourselves at MC, we were thrilled with that restaurant.

Canaletto, Grand Canal Venetian. Great food. Near Indoor Gondola Dock. Get a seat in the courtyard. Very nice.

Just ate at Buddy V's in the Venetian this past Monday and we really enjoyed it. The service we got there was particularly good (Thanks Nick!) We ate at 5:00ish and it was actually pretty quiet when we first got there. The bakery across the hall was nuts though.
